Draw strings instead of laces... in one word "ugh". Fiddly to get in and out of. Heel does not lock in place and lifts with every step.. I see the benefit on polar shoes but this ain't a polar shoe. The Summit is a far better option on this class. Buy a size larger than normal, which is the case for each and every Baffin shoe I have tried.

Finally! Moving snow with warm feet. My feet are damaged from past cold experiences & I've struggled to find a boot that really works. I wore Sorel Maveriks for the previous 10 years with cold feet & thought I'd try these 58 below rated boots. First off they feel like I'm wearing my running shoes weight wise. Much easier on my knees & ankles. The liners are super soft & comfortable. Lacing is great and includes a calf seal. My feet can sweat profusely under certain conditions & I needed to dry the liners and wipe out the inner boot of moisture after the first 5 hours or so. My time in the boots so far have been 15F - 20F degrees. I wear a 10US & ordered an 11US after reading reviews. I wish they offered half sizes. My foot fits perfectly but the heel area seems too large/loose. I almost returned for 10US but thought the foot would have been to small. After quite a few hours in them now I'm ok with the fit & love these boots. Time will tell on durability but these are a well made product.

Awesome boot! I bought these for winter backpacking/hiking and they did not disappoint. Very light, warm, comfortable boot. The liners are removable so you can wear them or stuff them in your sleeping bag at night and not have to put cold boots on in the morning. The ledge/shelf on the back and the d rings on the front are perfect for my snowshoes and crampons. Two things to note are buy a size bigger than you normally wear and the laces are very long. As you can see in the photo Baffin's are high quality. The brown ones so are 20 years old and still going strong

The Good!- I love this 2lb boot, and my feet stay warm (heavy wool socks, with silk liners too) while snow blowing my long driveway in cccold Montana weather!The Bad, that turned out Very Good!- I usually wear size 11.5, but the 12 was too small (returned for Refund to Amazon without removing tags...).I then searched Amazon with this- " Baffin Men's Sequoia Insulated Active Boot " (no "s!) , and found it Much cheaper at another supplier (did Not show on the original Amazon seller page, under Other Sellers!).!I ordered a size 13, and it was barely big enough, with socks.

Tough to size any shoe online, but my foot with thick socks and toe room is 11" so I bought size 12 and they fit great. The rubber sole seems a little too flexible, so weel see if they hold up. Very comfortable, easy to put on / take off, traction is good, and really warm. I spent 3 hours walking, shoveling, in foot of snow at 5-10 below zero and didn't feel the cold at all.

I got 2 sizes up, as people suggested. Think 1.5 is probably the best. But I am happy with the slightly larger size as I plan to wear thick socks and warmer packs.

I've had Mickey Mouse boots for 20 years. It was time for something new, and lighter, to try. So I purchased these boots. After 2 years these boots now take on water, the liner is totally worn out, and the stitching is coming undone. The time it lasted was good quality but for the price, it should have lasted much longer than two years of minimum seasonal use. For 1/3 of the price, I'm going back to Mickey Mouse. They will last 10+ years and they are much warmer. Don't waste your money! The best feature is the light weight.

Warm boots, but make sure and take them apart and dry out before reusing them. Excellent boots.

This item when ordered from seller was delivered within the time suggested by seller!Word of advice regarding size, order size and a half bigger due to the item manufacturer being North American size chart for more accurate fitting!Very well made and very warm!

I love the fact the boot is lightweight. It is very warm. Can do good walks in country and still comfortable and good grip and I like the drawstrings. Only “complaint” is the drawstring are very long once tightened so you have to tuck them into the top of your boot so they are loose (or dragging on the ground) but I still prefer than than tying up laces the old fashioned way. I also love the fact you can tighten it along your lower leg so snow doesn’t come in if you are out in the woods or deep snow. Terrific winter boot.

These boots are absolutely great for winter. They are super comfortable and warm, and keep your feet dry. The reason I took off one star is that they're a bit expensive... the price seems to vary depending on the size which is odd. We paid $209+tax for size 11 which I think is a bit expensive when the size 8s were around $150. Other than that, the boots themselves are great.

Boots are well worth the price. Very warm. Easy to get on/off. Would purchase again.The pricing is the only thing that I don't like as it varies by size. This didn't really affect me, but I find it odd.I normally fit a 10.5, but the 11's were considerably more than the other sizes, so I took a chance and ordered size 12. They are ever so slightly too big, but it's a non issue. An 11.5 would be perfect.A lot of reviews complained about not being able to wear extra socks. Thick or extra socks aren't needed. These are toasty warm with the thinnest of socks.
