A excellent little package - containing big functionality!
I have been using video cameras and audio equipment for years and always striving to add to my toolbox and solve issues!First off, this is a very nice package, it contains two transmitters and a receiver that out of the box were already paired up and ready to go.You get a selection of cables, a manual, two collar mics, a couple of wind diffusers and a little reset tool (though I am not sure under what circumstance you would need to use this). Its worth noting that the transmitters actually have built in microphones as well as the port for an external microphone, this makes them a super-slim package, especially as they are small enough to clip directly to your collar if needed or held like a regular microphone. This is a really cool feature!Quality wise the internal microphones and external collar microphones are excellent. I had a bit of a noticeable hum from an external mic I was testing, though to be fair that requires a bias to power it and I do not think these provide that. If you hook it up to a powered shotgun mic, it goes away, so any mic with a decent output should be fine. You can adjust the gain from each transmitter individually on the receiver and switch from stereo or mono inputs. If you have not used wireless microphones before please be aware that they have the tendency to pick up background RF noise (my RodeLink were particularly annoying in this regard), its not normally a big problem in post processing, however, handily this unit has a headphone monitor port so you can listen to the feeds live and arrange your equipment appropriately and adjust the gain controls as necessary.Being in lockdown I didn't check these to their maximum range, however with some creative positioning of my camera I got at least 20 metres without any degradation in the sound whatsoever. If you use both transmitters side by side you can get a strange effect, so it is best to keep a little distance between themMy only issue, and its a small one that I already read in an earlier comment, is that the supplied USB C lead is only single ended, with 3 devices all needing recharging this could prove to be a chore, so definitely order a couple more leads as well. One of my older rechargeable systems had a USB lead with a split, I think that they would do well to include one with this package. All in all a very neat little package and compared to my existing Rode's represent good value for money!

Fantastic sound, performance and price!! - Must have for video creatives.
Picked these up so I could go wireless on my Youtube channel as I create video reviews - samjpullen.I must admit I was surprised by the packaging, it's very neat and super easy if you're going to gift it to a friend, nice magnetic closure makes it feel nice and premium before you even touch the microphones. My main use will be to connect to my Camcorder / DSLR but in the box you get cables to use it with anything via a 3.5mm jack, meaning it can be used for DSLR cameras, iPads, smart phones, etc.You get 3 connection cables, all nicely marked as you'll see in my pictures, you'll also get 2 Lavalier microphones but you don't need these as the units also have microphones built right into them!, with the Lavaliers you also get 2 dead cats / windproof hairs, 1 type-c charing cable and all are very good quality. They're super small and light, meaning they're very easy to clip on any shirt or jacket, they have built in lithium batteries meaning you don't need to search the draws for spares when they run out, just plug in the usb-c cable and charge away.Very clean audio, super easy to pair and setup, it's pretty much plug and play and that's exactly what I was looking for when I thought I'd jump into the rabbit hole that is audio gear.In summary, BoomX-D2 is a very competitive microphone in a compact shape and size, super lightweight and offer around 4/5 hours of battery life before they need charging, you get everything needed in the box to start using them so no running off to buy extra accessories are needed for your full audio setup.Overall, the BoomX-D2 offers very good value for money, good audio quality and feel like they'll last for many years to come.

Everything you need to record - in one box
The media could not be loaded. I've done a super quick unboxing and setup video and compared it to my RODE Wireless Go setup. For the price - it's very compelling, you get EVERYTHING in the box. 2 Transmitters, 1 Receiver, 2 x Lav Mics, Cables for different brands of Cameras, and Phones and a USB C Cable too!It works as advertised, and the quoted straight line range of 50m is accurate. I'd recommend having the transmitter pack facing the camera, rather than having it behind you. There's very low noise, when I stopped speaking, the audio levels were at the bottom and didn't move.Put head to head with the RODE setup, it's perhaps lacking the bass notes in my voice, audio quality is quite subjective, so I thought it was sensible to let you judge for yourselves. If you're wanting a simple, cost-effective setup that you can use on multiple devices - THIS IS IT. It's super compact. It would be awesome if the box doubled up as a storage case so you could take this out and about with ease.I'm really pleased with the performance and price - plus having a headphone out to monitor audio is something that I've missed on the RODE setup I have. All in all this is a fantastic piece of kit.
