We love our Wubbs!
Adorable Wubbanub! All 3 of my babies loved their Wubbs and I especially loved the adorable assortment of animals to choose from! My babies all loved this type of pacifier, took to them quickly, and gave them lots of comfort. I learned early on that they don't last long having to wash them as the pacifier starts to detach from the lovie. I put them in a lingerie bag to help with that but I feel like they still took a beating! Worth it though because my babies loved having multiples in their cribs and would reach around to find one! Having the lovie attached made it easy to find in the dark and my babies loved playing with them too. I still have them even though the pacifiers have broken off!

adorable and great for not losing your pacifier
My 3.5 month old daughter has a giraffe Wubbanub too. She loves to hold (and lately suck on) the stuffed animals as well as the Soothie part. She used to babble to them, but I haven't heard her do that in the last few weeks. A really nice thing about the pacifier's attachment is that it is stiff, so she can maneuver the pacifier into her mouth by herself using the stuffie at least some of the time (at night, sorry, doesn't work that way). Last weekend, I attached the Wubbanub that lives in her car seat to a tether to attach to her umbrella stroller (that one's the giraffe, but the penguin and giraffe are equally tetherable), making it delightfully difficult to lose. The main problem, as many people have pointed out, is the fact that you can't switch out the pacifier, for cleaning or for a different size, or anything else. But if you want to get another brand that does switch out...most of them do not have a stiff pacifier attachment, rendering baby getting pacifier into her mouth by herself more problematic. For this reason when I bought her a third pacifier stuffie, I got a different brand that still attaches pretty stiff but can switch out pacifiers.

So cute and practical
Confession - I did not ask for Wubbanubs for my baby shower. I hadn't even heard of them. Fast forward four months later to about two weeks postpartum. I am about to lose it after losing what might have been my son's tenth pacifier of the morning (the clips just weren't cutting it). I call my friend in desperation and she quickly sends me a Wubbanub in the mail. And that started our love story with Wubbanubs. They are these adorable stuffed animals (just big enough for teeny baby hands) with pacifiers on the end. They are almost impossible to lose, are easy to clean, and double as a comforting toy if baby isn't into the Paci. Totally worth picking up one or two for your little one!!!!

These pacifiers are great. For both of our kids
These pacifiers are great. For both of our kids, having the animal attached to the pacifier really helped keep it in one place. Both of our children tended to move around a lot when sleeping, so to have a pacifier that was anchored to them with the subtle weight of the plush toy, it really helped keep it in one spot for easy retrieval. It was also helpful to find it for the parents so that we didn't have to fumble around in the dark with escalating cries. Also, the penguin is adorable. We have purchased other brands in the past, but those tend to be a little less flexible in the joint between the pacifier and make it harder for the plush animal to lay on the baby's belly while still keeping the pacifier in the mouth. Wubbanub is the brand we go with, and spending the minimal extra money for that brand is well worth it.

i hesitated on buying a wubbanub for a long time because it kind of seemed like a cheesy (and sort of expensive) thing that so many people have and i didn't want to buy into it. but truth is, it does help my baby (from about 3 months on) hold onto her pacifier herself and she has a better rate of getting back inside her mouth on her own. now at 4 and a half months, we use it all the time and she likes holding onto it. also, the penquin is REALLY cute! we were already using soothies so that was a nice touch. it is a little weird to me that the instructions say to wash the animal in the clothes washer and that the pacifier can be put in a dishwasher or sterilized when the pieces are sewn together? we end up just washing the pacifier part in the sink and not worrying much about the animal...

Must have for newborns!
Super easy to clean and easy to find! I just toss him into the washing machine and dryer with the baby's other cloths and would smell great again and be clean! I say easy to find as well, because since it attached to an animal, you can find it easily in the diaper bag compared to just a regular one. As a newborn, my daughter wouldn't use any pacifiers; after purchasing this, she would hold it. As teething began she at first chewed on the flat edges; and slowly, she now uses it to help her stay calm during long car rides and naps (18 months). It was very comforting and soothing for her. She never used any other pacifiers before using this one. She chose this over all the others, and eventually it is became more of a comforting item vs something to suck/chew. Must have for newborns as it does DOUBLE duty as a pacifier and lovey and is easy to find, clean and use! Oh, and it is also durable. A couple people have told us that we'd have to replace her pacifiers often once she got teeth... and it is still in perfect condition even after 4 months of continuous use!

These wubbanub pacifiers are awesome! As a grandmother to my first beautiful granddaughter
These wubbanub pacifiers are awesome! As a grandmother to my first beautiful granddaughter, I didn't think much of them at first because I thought it was just another cosmetic gizmo to get parents to spend more money. BUT, it's a safe soothing huggable stuffed animal attached to a pacifier. It allows the baby to hold and cuddle the pacifier while falling asleep. My granddaughter is only 4 months and has 2 of them. We have several of the same pacifiers but the 2 wubbanubs are the ones we use 90% of the time. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they're a bit pricy. When looking at them on the website it's almost like the company is trying to price them like the "TY BEENIE BABY" craze. One animal cost more than another. They're cute and effective but the company does is gouge some.

The wubbanub is a great idea, and the friends attached to the soothies are super cute! The friend helps babies find their pacifier and keep it in their mouths longer. We haven't had much success getting our baby to take a pacifier, but the odd time he does it's always his wubbanub and soothie!

These are my kids favorite paci, I love the animals. It makes them easy for the kid to find at night to, so they can put it back in.

We tried all kinds of “sookies” for our son. He was colicy and never sucked his thumb. These were the best thing for him and worked great in the car when he was little because he could find it and put it back in himself. In his crib he would hold the animal as he went to sleep, even after he weaned himself off the sookie part. These are great quality and stand up to constant use.
