Things are coming full circle
Dale SteelAshley WhiteDale, adopted at 10 by Talon and Jade Steel, (who you met for the first time in Craving) has emotional baggage that no one knows about. He does not want to let it out, yet Ashley (an intern who he does not think is needed at the winery) is bringing to the surface. This book has it all, Intrigue, slight suspense, some terror and love...I loved everything about this book. Helen Hardt, is a master at her craft.Bring on Cherished, the next installment in the series. You HAVE to read this series in order, starting with book one, Craving, or you will not know what is truly happening too, or by whom. This review is rated with 5 stars, for this book is worth that plus some.

Nothing new here!!
So disappointing. This had great potential, was so awaiting fast forwarding 20+ years . If Ms. Hardt said one more time that Dale was closer to his father rather than his mother I was going to shut my Kindle down.!! I think we loyal readers got swindled on this book. Limited content, tons of repetition and a very abrupt ending. Think it's time to wrap this family story up or I suspect readers will fall off after this ploy to cash in on us.

Darkness has been awakened!
There is so much to say about this amazing beginning of Dale and Ashley’s story. From flames igniting right from the start desire for the other to the feelings of fulfillment (though there’s a cliffhanger as usual) towards the end of the beginning. Helen will bring you to the extreme of emotions only to leave you hanging and wanting more. Her writing was everything, her development of characters was nothing short of amazing, and has exceeded my expectations with the most amazingly talented storyline of the boy who has been filled with darkness and the girl who is the light at the end of his tunnel.Dale Steel, son of Talon and Jade and the beginning of the second generation Steel’s, the little boy who has so much resentment held from his past, that has caused him to become an introvert. He doesn’t know how to express his emotions, doesn’t know what love is or understand the need for the emotion. To him, love is a pathway to hell and has no desire to ever experience the emotion.Ashley White, a girl with a past that she hides from most, has taken her unnerving past and used it as an opportunity to make something better. She has been with a lot of men in her past, always for just one night as she has never wanted to settle down with another. Until she meets Dale Steel, she instantly feels a connection to him, a need to “taste” his essence. The interactions between these two characters was like none other that Helen has written about. Each of their pasts has contributed to their personality and Helen has described these two to perfection. She will make you feel their hurt, feel their pain, and understand their hesitations. The anticipation for Cherish is unbearable and unavoidable yet the excitement for March to come is the beginning to an enjoyable continuation of the Steel Brothers.

Awakened
The next generation of Steels is here and dare I say it, as good as or even better than the original Steel Brothers books!? Although nothing can top the superb writing in the original series, this comes extremely close!! Dale and Ashley’s story is very much their own and it heats up in a way that is so raw and fragile because it’s coming from a place of pain on his part. Dale will have to heal first and foremost before there can ever be anything between him and Ashley. I have read everything Helen Hardt has written and this book has surpassed them all in the raw emotional strife one character can have. Being a survivor of abuse of any kind is a deeper, darker pain then can be fathomed and Helen dives deeper into it to give you a story that will live inside of you long after you finish reading it!! I hope this makes sense as my thoughts and feelings are still all over the place from reading this book, even days later!! You must read this book!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is beyond great!
This is the story of Dale & Ashley. Dale is the adopted son of Talon & Jade. This is the first book of the next generation of Steels. Ashley is at the Steel Vineyard for three months for an internship. She is in her last year of college getting her doctorate in oenology. She doesn’t want to be a winemaker, though. She wants to be in wine tasting and selling. Dale will be training her, but thinks it’s unnecessary. His uncle, Ryan Steel, thinks he needs to improve his people skills. Dale has never gotten over being traumatized as a child. He’s always in a dark place. Ashley has synesthesia; meaning colors have sounds and sounds have colors. It’s a neurological condition in which her brain processes information with several senses at once. She’s also not had a good childhood, but not due her mother. Their attraction is off the charts. Dale is also an introvert. He tries to fight the attraction, but it’s way too strong. Ashley doesn’t try to fight it. All she knows is she wants Dale. And the end of this book leaves you hanging to see what happens in the next book. The title of book is true to form for Helen Hardt. There are lots of emotions, too. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Complex, Intense, and Spectacular
A complex, intense, spectacularly mind blowing explosion of sensory overload that will steal your every breath! This slow burning romance, with an irresistible air of mystery, ushers in the next generation of Steels in a powerfully and masterfully written fashion. Five stars for this exceptional read!

AMAZING Helen has done it again
Poor Dale. Life changed him 25 years ago. His family loves him, but he's alone not physically but he keeps his distance from people, until Ashley comes to the ranch with his sister. Ashley is an intern that will be working for him for the next 3 months. She met uncle Ryan and Diana at a college seminar and asked if she wanted to do internship at Steel Vineyards. Diana and Ashley hit it off instantly. Dale is gorgeous. Green eyes so clear and long blonde hair I just want to run my hands thru it. When he talks, I'm enveloped in a beautiful dark red veil. I'm in trouble. My legs are jelly just from a word. I am so going to love this job...... I'm not going to spoil you anymore. You HAVE got to read this book. You will love it.

Wow!! Powerful, emotional and raw!
I started this series mid July, how I came across it i have no idea but boy an I glad I did.....im well and truly hooked!!While reading all 16 books (very eager for 23rd march) its easy to forget your reading a book, its like been pulled into a whole new world, the characters, feelings, raw emotion just pull you in deeper.I'm a huge Steel Brothers fan, totally addicted, but I cant offer spoilers (I dont like receiving them either) but the passion between the characters is something out of this world!Have to start the blood bond saga while I wait with anticipation for the next Steel Brothers!

Rubbish
I’ve read all the steel books, which I enjoyed....but this one is absolute rubbish, it leaves half way through the story ..we didn’t find out if Floyd was Dales father.. I lost count how many time it repeats how dale was close to his dad and not so to his mum ...what a absolute rip off £6.99 for 281 pages of a story that leaves half way throughREFUND PLEASE

Another engrossing story of the Steele saga. A gentle start which drew me in. Lots of threads which will no doubt start to draw us in. A tortured alpha male, who was very much a loner, meets someone who is an intern in his family's wine making business. I read this book in one hit which leaves me counting the days until Book 17 is published. Thoroughly enjoyable read which I totally recommend.

Left high and dry like the heroine
Some warning should be given that the author is going to abandon the story half way through and make you wait two months for the conclusion/next episode. Not that I care enough to order the next one. Big on wine, not big on plot or characterisation.

Absolutely brilliant
Wow is all I can say!!!! The next generation of Steels starts with Dale Steel the oldest child, adopted son of Talon and Jade Steel. He's very much to himself until Ashley White comes to work at the vineyard for 3 months, Dale tries to stay away from Ashley but is failing. The attraction between Dale and Ashley is off the chart. I'm counting down for the release of Cherished to see what happens next
