TYPAR Surround S.R. Roof Underlayment, 45" X 53.4' - 200 Square Feet

I was amazed by the quality of this product, especially for the price. It is only slightly more expensive than 30# felt which easily tears and is not waterproof. I was reluctant to try a synthetic, but after experiencing the ease of installation, and yes, it is waterproof as advertised, I am sold and will never go back to felt. Great product and made in the USA as well.

I wanted to build a root cellar and I decided to use this roofing paper to waterproof it. This product seems to work well and I found it easy to install and tape. It's not adhesive, so you want to overlap and secure it; I used construction seaming tape.

For only a fraction more than standard tar paper, this underlayment is superb. You can leave it in the sun much longer than standard tar paper, it's durable, light and easy to work with. I'll never use tar paper again.

Product with stands high winds and rain . It was easy to install. It's best to start nailing at the bottom to get it running straight.
