Goldbaking Skull Chocolate Mould 3D Skull Candy Molds Polycarbonate Halloween Chocolate Mold

My friend was born on Halloween so I wanted to make her a red velvet cake with a pile of skulls on top with red icing blood oozing from their empty eyeballs. I used fondant, not chocolate candy. It was easy to remove them after I started lining the spaces with coconut oil. Then, when they were dry several days later, I popped them out with the tip of a knife then used soft fondant to seal the joints. So far so good...

Great Mold somewhat small for what I needed but it makes a stunning decorative and tasty creamy bonbon.

It was hard to get the chocolate out of the mold. The definition of the skull could be a little better and defined, but if you can get it out of the mold with out destroying it, it looks pretty good.

This did not come with any instructions whatsoever. I guess they assume someone who knows what they’re doing is buying their product. The first time I tried it I could not get the chocolate to come out. I tried to twist a little like you would an ice tray and go nowhere. I stuck it in the freezer and banged it on both sides. Nothing happened. Had to pick out the chocolate and start over. The next time I sprayed it with cooking spray. The chocolate kept sliding down the sides because of the spray. I didn’t over spray either. I still struggled to get them out. Did the same froze, banged and twisted. Eventually got the chocolate out. Some in one piece even.

Had scratches, but overall works for the purposes I needed it for
