It's a good filament, not black, need to tweak for perfect prints.
It works. You need to tweak the parameters to get good prints with any filament, anyway. Some of the comments say it's black, but you can see in my picture it's very, very dark gray, and not black, like the item below it. It prints best for me at 205C. My only real complaint, if you can call it that, is it has a rough surface. Maybe that's a "feature."

Not a good filament or company
This is NOT grey. It is jet black. They (distributer) have an on going process of remarking the boxes as gun metal grey on top of the black UPC. This filament needs a high print temp. 225 to 230 is normal and even higher might be best. Printer bed temp must be 70 Celsius or higher. Filament prints very stringy. Not a brand I would buy again. This is the only filament that I've had absolutely no issues with over the last three years. I use it in a Makerbot Replicator 2.

Nope nope nope nope
This filament is a nightmare to print with. What exactly was added to it to make it require such high temperatures I have no idea but it takes at least 235-240 to print without serious stringing and god help you if you need to print out thin structures as this stuff curls worse than ABS.Now I've got reprint about 25 pieces for a color specific model I've been working on. Sigh...

Ordered: Gun Metal GrayReceived: BlackFilament is soft and Porous. I have tried every different setting to improve print quality without success. Poor layer bonding at all Temps and layer thicknesses.

Not Gun Metal Grey
Item is NOT Gun Metal Grey. Box has a second sticker on it stating its Gun Metal Grey, on top of another sticker. Sticker on the vacuum packaged roll states that it is BLACK.
