You get what you pay for. This is a very nice product. Looks great and appears to be holding up well.

Do not buy this product. Poor quality. After only a few months of light use in restroom, rusty blemishes appeared.

I'm using this in my room so it's not a huge deal, but my trash can (like others in the reviews) came with several dents. The lid is kinda hard to secure with a back inside as well. When I push down to secure it on one side, the other side kinda pops up. Besides that, it looks nice, holds a lot of garbage, and is very easy to change the bag on it.

We are very happy with our purchase of the Alpine 5.3 gallon stainless trash bin. What we like most about it, other than the size (8.9 x 14 x 17 inches) is the removable top which allows us to place the plastic bag inside and retain it from slipping in by fastening the top over it. We also did not want a lid --so this fits the bill nicely.

This is a very nice-looking trash bin which houses a very functional/removable plastic inner liner. I find that, with no pets or children at home, the open top better fits my needs than containers having lids. Saves me time when my hands are full and I'm running around barefoot cleaning up a messy kitchen. I can easily pitch stuff from several feet away without fear of bounding off a closed lid! A word of caution: if you'd like to have one of these trash cans, be prepared to work at it. It took several delivery/return cycles before I finally received one that wasn't dented. Even then, I had to settle for one that had a small dent on one side which my spouse was able to pound out. Several of the cans we received were well beyond his ability to fix.
