Black Garlic Umami Sauce - Rich Flavor, Vegan and Gluten-Free - 5.1 Oz

Deep umami and garlic flavor, this sauce is something I love to use in soups and broths. A common use is when I make a chicken/bone broth from a grocery store roast chicken carcass. After the rice wine vinegar is done with it's work, strain off the broth, add carrots, celery, shallot, and white beans. Add back the miscellaneous chicken meat that is falling off the bone and a couple tablespoons of this sauce. Simmer for an hour - it will melt your nugget. ;-)

I absolutely adore this. Add it to a lot of stuff I eat, especially ramen. I'm a huge fan of Black Garlic and this is by far one of the best additives.

It tastes great but the container is so small. I bought two bottles over three days apart.

Adds amazing flavor!

I got introduced to black garlic by trader Joe's, where they have sprinkled bits of fermented black garlic in a shaker. Well this is plenty yummy, it's got a little bit more of a peppery bite and has more added mushroom and other umami elements, listed on the packaging before a black garlic.

I use this in place of the oil packet that comes with my favorite tonkatsu noodles, and I’ve also used it in chicken soup (my bowl only, at serving, and not the whole pot). It’s pricey but a little goes a long way.

Just like the ramen shop and the Miso Black Ramen I get. Now I can make the same thing at home.
