I've been using this stuff for years and I find it really helps my mood. I stopped taking it a while back, because my local supplier stopped carrying it, and I really noticed a difference in my mood especially my stress levels. Without it I was stressed and noticeably grumpier as observed by my family. Luckily I found the exact version here on Amazon and ordered another bottle. Within a few days I was back to feeling more relaxed and I was sleeping better again. I personally take one in the morning and one in the evening. I used to take just one in the morning, but then I wasn't sleeping well at night. I also tried just one in the evening, and it seemed like by the next afternoon it was wearing off. It also doesn't make you feel high or anything, for me it just gives me more of a "who cares" attitude for the small things. I have a tendency to get worked up over nothing and it causes stress. This supplement just seems to calm me more. I also notice that I have less of an appetite, like less likely to snack between meals. All-in-All I like this product.

Been buying 5HTP for a long time.Natrol is a good brand, I buy their melatonin too. No flavor as it’s not a chewable so you just swallow with water like other supplements.I need it to help me with sleep and this works well, and it’s a trusted brand imho.I honestly can’t tell you if it’s making a huge difference, although I did notice that if I’m not taking 5HTP regularly, my body is on a different rhythm.Price is better than in store for this plus you can’t always find it, so Amazon to the rescue. Ships quickly too.

I’ve had depression, anxiety, and severe PMS all my life. I had to go off of hormonal birth control for my health and my PMS symptoms got so much worse. How much more stable and cheerful. I take it twice a day, according to my doctor’s instructions. I really love this product. I suffer from clinically diagnosed PTSD anxiety. I was searching for a natural product that was easy to swallow and what do as it advertises. I find that this product helps me greatly with anxiety and I can actually tell the difference if I skip taking it. The only downside that I can see is that it really does help you sleep as well which is not always the best feature in my job as a first responder so I find myself drinking coffee a lot. I find that it’s a small price to pay for the benefits the product offers.

My gosh this feels like if caffeine had a baby with l-theanine. Perfect!! No negative thoughts in sight honestly. Not even if I tried. No "crash" from caffeine either, but I'm still alert yet relaxed. Also really mindful and present too! Almost like I had tunnel vision my entire life and it's now been cleared up. Gives me a real good sense of hope and optimism, an inspiration-like feeling that you get from that one youtube video that touches you, but instead it's a lasting feeling and not a "aww that was real sweet.. okay on to my next thing" emotion that lasts a minute if you're lucky. 10/10
