I purchased this so my 5 year old can use on his Samsung Galaxy tablet (for drawing and interacting educational apps) that he will be receiving for Christmas 2020. The stylus is the same height as the lil pack of pocket tissues. Overall, the price is good, it's very light, durable, and the colors are nice. Just in case he lose one, I will have back up.... after that he will be looking for job applications LOL. And NO, it is NOT A PEN. In the video, I'm demonstrating it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and I love it. So just in case I lose my stylus that came with the tablet, I will be using this (but let's pray that I don't lose it for real LOL). Also works great on Samsung Galaxy S20 phone. So to clear this up, it will definitely work with ANY type of phone or tablet.

Small, easy to use and right for the job

I bought these for my winter hikes and snowshoe days. Touch-enabled gloves don't always work very well, can be inaccurate when they do, and are rendered useless by sub-zero temperatures, when you’re wearing a pair or two under insulated mittens. They work adequately well, and definitely alleviate the frustration of using a smartphone in cold weather. Unlike some other reviewers, I have yet to break one after 4 winter hikes, even though I’ve pulled the stylus out and hooked it to my pocket dozens of times on each hike, and dropped it on more than one occasion. At ≈ 50¢ a piece, I’m not sure I’d care all that much if I broke one every 10 hikes anyway. A 10-pack would still last me through at least 2 winters. I will say, however, that the tip can be finicky at times when trying to take photos, requiring multiple taps (or taps in very specific spots) to trigger the shutter. I could press harder, but the reason I got a capacitive stylus was to avoid having to press the volume buttons, which causes camera shake. I do wish the stylus were a tiny bit longer, as holding it can be difficult, especially with clumsy gloved hands. I have fairly small hands, so I can imagine how much worse it could be for someone with large hands. The tip could also be a bit thicker, to keep the metal base from scratching the screen. I haven’t had that happen yet with this particular stylus, but I have seen it with other styluses that had a similar tip size. Update: The tip did fall out after ≈6 hikes, pulling the stylus in and out of my pocket. But I just popped it right back in, and it hasn’t fallen out again since. It looks to me like you could easily superglue the thing and ensure that it never happens again. It’s a nonissue.
