Keeley Caverns V2 Delay/Reverb Effects Pedal Waves Limited Edition

I bought this pedal so that I could choose to have my rhythm and lead effects independently when looped (using my amps pre-built effects would be an all or nothing).This pedal sounded pretty good in the Youtube videos I saw it demoed in so I thought I'd give it a shot.Didn't really like the default art on this pedal so I was happy to see there was this cool looking alternative.I was able to fit two pancake style patch cables on the top which I was a bit concerned about from the pictures. I had seen comments saying that this pedal sounded "digital" "laggy at times" or even "like a toy microphone" here on amazon, which was concerning, but honestly it sounds great to me and I haven't really experienced those issues. I haven't been able to stop playing it, its got a lot of range and versatility (much better than the effects I've got in my amps which was a nice bonus). I did have one minor issue which may be what some of these reviews were referring to. Being new to pedals I had my overdrive pedal set up after this reverb/delay which apparently was causing it to sound muddy/odd (overdriving the reverb). After switching the overdrive to be first in the chain it now sounds much clearer and is honestly just perfect, I am completely satisfied.

I love this pedal! It is so versatile and sounds absolutely awesome in every context. My only complaint is the delay doesn't extend longer. Other than that, the modulation and shimmer controls are absolutely amazing. You can create some perfect ambient tones. This is a must have for any pedalboard!

Love the reverb and the delay is amazing. Perfect controls, not too complicated, and I can pull all kinds of sounds out of this box. This one is fun all around

The sound and build quality overall are excellent, but it has one fatal flaw: if you give this any kind of gain boost (distortion, OD, clean boost, etc.) it will completely ruin the sound. I'm assuming it just peaks the signal or something, but what comes out is mostly static. Which is a shame, because this pedal sounds gorgeous, but even the slightest bit of boost kills it. I even tried it with all of my other pedals switched off and just my raw guitar tone (not active pickups, either) was too much if I tried applying any bite to my playing. It's possible I got a dud, but regardless I can only use this pedal if I'm playing really soft.

The pedal itself is great except for it being clicky buttons.

Was excited to try out this pedal as I’ve been wanting a delay pedal for a while. I was gonna replace my tc electronics pedal with this one as well but it didn’t make the cut. The reverb sounded like those toy megaphones for kids. Just sounds like a spring bouncing around. Has three different sounds for rever but none of them sounded organic like my HOF reverb pedal. Decided to ignore it and try out the delay option but I just couldn’t convince myself to keeping this pedal.
