Review: Love this Disc! - First off, I've got to hand it to the guys at Fuzzy Door, great work. I love the bonus features, especially the songs! Seth MacFarlane is a genius, and if you haven't seen Seth and the gang perform all the voices live, check them out on this DVD. There was an issue with one of the bonus features; I recently updated to iTunes 10 on the PC, and evidently the problem lies with iTunes 10 and the song transfer application (iTunes 10 is so terribly buggy in regards to TV Show purchases, rentals, etc.). I visited the [...] help site from the transfer application, and there is a download that works with iTunes 10. Apparently this disc was created before iTunes 10 came out. Now it works, and the songs are hilarious well worth the little hassle. You can of course transfer the clips manually, just copy the MP3's from the DVDROM folder, and you are good to go. The other feature that I thought was cool about this DVD was the fact that it worked great on my Mac also. When I inserted the disc into my Macbook Pro, a menu popped up that offered the song transfer feature (which worked great btw on the Mac with iTunes 10), but the cool thing is that Apple DVD player didn't start up yet. I was able to launch Apple DVD player from the Menu. Usually when you insert a DVD movie into your Mac, Apple DVD Player takes over regardless if there is enhanced content on the disc. There must be some new technology out now that separates the Mac, PC, and DVD Set-Top box - nice! Review: Hilarious - Everyone is boo-hoo-ing b/c this dvd only has 1 episode on it. Very true, that sucks. BUT there are so many bonus features its worth it, especially the table read and Seth & Alex's almost live comedy show. Ok sure, all of this could have been included on one of the volume sets. ITS NOT Seth/Family Guy's fault though, the blame purely lies with Fox... You wanna complain, write to them. Email them, call them. The episode itself, it was frickin awesome. It felt as if I was watchin old school family guy, know what i mean? Several fans, including myself, feel some of the later shows just havent been up to par with the first few seasons, but this one was just wow! The jokes were flying left and right, the sight gags were worth it and on point, so yea, this episode and dvd extras, I think are totally worth it for the 10 bucks. I totally recommend it.

good buy (check photos)
The accessories and special box are in great condition. Little bumps and dirt here and there but for used condition 60$ I’m not complaining. All dvds work & nothing came broken (besides 1 of the flimsy plastic boxes holding the poker chips, but it’s just thin generic plastic with no family guy branding so I don’t really care)

Did you know abortion caused 9/11?
Ever since it first aired, "Family Guy" has pushed the limits of good taste, and often succeeded wildly in doing so. For the most part Fox has allowed them to do and get away with quite a lot, but occasionally the show has gone farther than the network will allow. The last time it happened was with the largely non-offensive "When You Wish Upon a Wienstien". The most recent is with this story, "Partial Terms of Endearment". The plot centers around an old college friend of Lois' who wants to have a baby. She and her husband have tried time and again to have one, and just haven't been successful. So they ask if Lois would be willing to act as a surrogate. She agrees and then they die. Lois debates whether or not to have an abortion and hilarity ensues! Now this isn't the best or funniest "Family Guy" episode ever made, but it is a very good episode, and one that I feel should have probably aired with a disclaimer in front. There's not really much here that's terribly offensive, but there's a lot that's very funny (especially Peter's belief that Lois' friend wants a threesome with him and Lois). I understand why people have a problem with there being only one episode on this disc, but that episode does have commentary. Plus you get many extras, including some downloadable songs, an animatic (should you care about such things), and "Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show". While it would've been nice to see a couple other episodes thrown onto here, I don't feel ripped-off or cheated by what I got. Bottom line: if you like the show, you'll like this DVD.

A must have for any FG fan.. completes my collection
I love that this included the Seth & Alex Live show. I remember seeing it on TV once, but it hasn't aired since (to my knowledge). I think this episode (Partial Terms of Endearment) really should not have been banned. I think they have aired far more offensive episodes then this. It may have just been a ploy to grab our interest and get us to buy the DVD (since the episode is also not included in any of the box sets). Nevertheless, for $10, I think it's worth it for the true FG fan. The episode is funny, and having the Live show is also a nice addition to my collection (I own box sets 1-8). Go ahead and purchase it, you know your curiosity is getting the best of you on this one. You won't be disappointed. I LOVE Family Guy, and I hope they continue pushing the limits for years to come :)

Not many complaints here. Product arrived on time, intact, and the episode is funny. The price is a bit steep considering it's the cost of a whole season for just one episode, but I'll let it slide since it's the episode where the meme of Joe Swanson saying "Hey Peter" originated. Plus it's a rare episode that isn't included in the individual season DVDs, and has some cool special features as well. Would recommend if you're collecting all of old Family Guy (Seasons 1-9) like myself.
