Reel that came rubs when turning. Rod seems fine.
I have several of these rods. Love it. The reel that came with this one was not smooth. You can feel and hear it rubbing. I usually buy this same product from the fly shop and haven’t had any trouble with the reels till now. The reel looks like it may have got banged around/scraped etc. It’s probably usable but not the new quality I’m used to for buying brand new. I can put a different reel on the rod if I have to.
