The bag the brush comes in first of is a nice touch, it adds to the styling of the contents. The bristle brush is very nice, I'd say a medium feel to the bristles and it works wonderfully. The black bristles you will see in there are plastic which help the softer boar hair comb through. It's definitely more boars hair.My one fault to the brush is some of the plastic ones I had to trim as they were about 1cm above all the others, not a big deal.The comb is great and works well. Be careful as the points are well... Points. They have a good stab your face quality if you aren't careful. I also recommend not getting the comb wet. The dark color it has will wash away in water, which I am sad about but it isn't a big deal to me.In all I'd definitely recommend the brush and comb set to anyone looking to tame a wild beard.

The beard brush and comb set are wonderful. The comb is sleek, stylish, and demonstrates great craftsmanship. I use it on both my head and chin hairs and it works wonderfully. The brush is great and I have already noticed a tamer, more smooth beard after a few days of use. An issue I had is there were a few bristles longer than the others. I had to trim it a little, but it works great. The brush fits comfortably in my hand. The bag is pretty nice too. There were many threads that came off when I first opened it, but it works perfectly and provides a rustic and rugged look for when I carry my comb and brush set with me.

Works exactly as described! I purchased this because I noticed my husband using my boar-bristled round hairbrush. So I thought i'd get him something comparable to that type of bush, but for beards.My husband has a short/medium length beard, nothing extravagant in length...but this seems to wrangle in the hair and lay them smooth after brushing. The wood handle is good quality and the brush strands are solid but soft at the same time. He uses the comb less than the brush and it's more of a deep-cleaning type thing. The soft brush doesn't seem to go in deep, more of a surface beard. The comb goes all the way through the beard under the chin.

Two issues, both good. First, the brush bristles have the perfect stiffness. I got a brush with softer bristles. It's totally ineffective on my mustache and beard unless they are sopping wet. I got a different brush that was way to stiff. It hurt my face. This brush works great and doesn't scratch. I love this beard brush.And second, it's the right size. It's small enough to fit my beard AND my mustache, but not so small that it's ineffectual.The comb is a bonus. I like the brush so much that, of the set, I use the brush exclusively on my facial hair. I find that plastic combs get caught in my head hair when it's wet (after a rainstorm or after bathing). I found, quite by accident that this wooden comb doesn't grab or tangle my wet hair. So for a different reason, I also love the comb.

Fantastic brush. I've used this palm size brush for 3 weeks now and absolutely recommend it. I tried a different brush before buying this one. It was too hard, to small, and not boars hair. This one is the perfect size, about like a bar of soap. The bristles are firm but not harsh and don't scratch my face. They are comfortable and they are boar's hair. They absorbed a little beard oil at first but now do a great job of spreading oil. I maybe lost 5 little boar's hairs in three weeks. Excellent product and great price. I don't use the comb but my son, who has a much thicker and longer beard loves it.

This is a very nice brush. The bristels clean out very easly with the tool it comes with and its perfect for applying dry shampoo. The bristels dont stretch and the brush has a very comfortable handle thickness. It has hard and soft bristles plus this comes with a traveling bag.

Like some of the other reviewers here, I'm disappointed by the quality of some of the items in this set.I have no complaints about the comb; it appears and works as described.The brush's bristles were falling out before I used it once on my beard. In fact the bag the set came in had bristles in it when I opened it for the first time. Each subsequent use of the brush leaves a scattering of fallen bristles in my sink.Speaking of the set's bag, it appears to be poorly made. Upon opening it for the first time, I had to clear away a number of loose threads from the inside seams to remove the brush/comb set. It's a small thing, sure, but it speaks to the attention to detail of the manufacturer.

Great beard brush and comb combo. Great quality just the right size. And it looks great too. If you've been hesitating on buying a real set like me it's totally worth it. I have been using hair brush and regular small tooth plastic comb and it doesn't compare. After I brushed my beard it looked exactly how I have been trying to keep it. My girlfriend even said wow your beard looks good today. I don't work this company or anything and paid full price. Just a very satisfied customer.
