An excellent Collection
As an avid fan of Looney Tunes I would say that the selection of cartoons for this set was quite well done with few exceptions. Though I am not a huge fan of Sniffles I will say it is interesting to see the character develop as you watch the cartoons. Chuck Jones develops his style and comes into his own as the cartoons progress. Hubie and Bertie are two of my favorite lesser used characters in the Looney Tunes line up and its great to have all of their cartoons on one disc. Hypo-chondri Cat is one of my all time favorites. As for the extra shorts most of those are good as well. Mouse Mazurka I haven't seen in years. Though I will say I would have liked to see all three Honey Mouser cartoons on this release. Speedy Gonzales deserves his own personal collection. Hippety Hopper is getting his. I could care less about Merlin the Magic Mouse. As far as I'm concerned Merlin, Bunny and Claude and Cool Cat are some of the worst cartoons ever made. Everything else is great for quality. All in all an excellent set and worth the money.

SNIFFLES!!!!! SNIFFLES!!!!!!! EVERY SINGLE SNIFFLES!!!!!!
I love "Sniffles"! I have always loved Sniffles! The problem is that Bugs Bunny represents 80% of what they show on TV. Daffy is another 14% and most of the rest is 5%. Sniffles represents 1% of Looney Tunes and I treasured every single time one appeared. For some time, I've imagined how wonderful it would be to get every single Sniffles cartoon on one DVD. In addition, the second DVD contains all the "Hubie and Bertie" cartoons (which I happen to enjoy as well). Here's the bottom line, there is no better mouse in cartoon-dom than Sniffles. Don't tell me about "MIC-KEY" or "MIN-NIE". I don't want to hear about Jerry (of "Tom &" fame). "Mighty" is hooked on snuff, "Speedy Gonzales" is too ethnic, "Stuart Little" was ruined with Michael J Fox, "Fievel Mousekewitz"?? Ask a kid who the hell is Fievel Mousekewitz, "Remy" is Pixar and computer generated and is disqualified, "Itchy" (from the Simpsons) - meh - ------ there is nothing better than Sniffles.I LOVE SNIFFLES and he's AVAILABLE on BluRay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The DVD says Multiformat, but it is Blu Ray only, not Blu ray and DVD
Although this says, Multiformat, it is only Blu ray. There is no additional DVD disk to play in regular machines.

Chuck Jones cartoons are the best !!!
Chuck Jones cartoons are the best. This Looney Tunes Mouse DVD is great. There are 12 good mouse cartoons on disc 1 all of which are Chuck Jones. And disc 2 saved the best for last. It has all 7 cartoons of the greatest two mice ever Hubie and Bertie !!!! YEAH, YEAH, SURE, SURE !!!! For those not familiar with, or unsure who the great Hubie and Bertie are, there pic this on the cover of the DVD. Plus there are 11 extra cartoons on disc 2 from other directors besides Chuck Jones, like Frank Fritz and others. For Looney Tunes Fans this DVD set is a great buy. I paid like 9$$ for 30 fantastic cartoons, mostly all by the great Chuck Jones.

What do cats eat for breakfast?
It’s a real treat to see these nice clean prints of cartoons from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Disc one contains every Sniffles short ever produced by Warner Brothers - from 1939 to 1946 - wherein legendary animation director Chuck Jones was still honing his craft. These cartoons will probably appeal to both collectors and the (much) younger viewer. Disc two sees the evolution in Jones’ style with the funnier and faster paced Hubie and Bertie series - from 1943 to 1951 - and is guaranteed to have broader appeal. The 11 mouse-related bonus cartoons (from various directors) brings the sum total to 30 classic cartoons on this set. For more information, including individual listings, I’d recommend reading Paul J Mular’s more comprehensive review below.

Not as good as some previous items from WB
I was a little let down by this one because I know there were a lot of cool WB cartoons with characters like Hubie and Bertie, and things like the spoofs of The Honeymooners etc...... Many funny cartoons featuring mice and other animals. What I found with this set though was that one entire disc was nothing but Sniffles cartoons. Sniffles to me was one of those mediocre characters. I never cared for him much.I didn't hate him like Scrappy-Doo, Goofy-Doo, Batmite, The Great Gazoo, The Wonder Twins, Cousin Oliver (The Brady Bunch) or any of the other lame characters which were often added into otherwise cool shows and cartoon series of the day. But I didn't care for him much or that particular disc on of this set for that reason. There are plenty of good items on the second disc which I quite enjoyed. Problem is, I am almost certain that everything I enjoyed I already had from the various Looney Tunes Golden and Platinum collection sets.I'm not sure if there is anything on here that I really needed it for. Even the Sniffles cartoons may have been included among the many other things on the Golden and Platinum collections. Which by the way still managed to overlook a ton of as yet unreleased classic Looney Tunes.Depending on what you have in your collection and if your kids would enjoy Sniffles, you may or may not want to invest in this one. If you don't have the Golden or Platinum sets it might be worthwhile. If you do have them, I can't say without taking a lot of time to compare content, but you likely already have anything you'd want.
