Rembrandt Soft Pastel 120 Half Stick General Set

About the soft pastels, they are good if you are looking for something a bit harder, but there are serious issues regarding the packaging of the pastels as I got many broken pastels in side. I think the fault is in the box designed to hold pastels, Rembrandt should try to improve the quality of the box that it could handle such fragile material. Although the pastels are good but was greatly disappointed at seeing the broken pieces.

The price was good for the product. Delivery time was reasonable. We were concerned about other reviews discussing pastels arriving damaged and seeing pictures to prove it. Empty space in box allows pastels to move around and no labelling for product as fragile and/or this side up direction causes many of the problems experienced by other reviewers due to the multiple handling of product during delivery. Ours thankfully had some displacement and one (1) broken pastel stick hence 4 stars. Packaging of product needs improvement.

After reading reviews I expected some pastels to be broken upon opening. There were four broken in transit. This was perfectly acceptable as the first thing I do with pastels is break them into smaller pieces for easier use. The pastels have a beautiful range of colors not covered in my other sets. They are especially good for portraits. Their hardness is somewhere in the middle range. They work beautifully on sanded paper. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Ni que agregar con la calidad Rembrandt, en este caso los 120 medios contienen una gama maravillosa de tonos, ya que el estuche de 150 esta verdaderamente caro.

Pastels arrivés dans cet état. Beaucoup sont ébréchés. Très décevant. Pour ce qui est de la qualité des pastels, très bonne pour cette catégorie.
