FPV for HDMI-compatible Flat Ribbon Cable with Standard, Mini and Micro Connectors Bundle Set for Multicopter Aerial Photography

It's a very slim form factor. Surprisingly durable.

I bought this to connect a touchscreen to an SBC. The touchscreen had an FPV cable input for HDMI signals. When connecting one of this kit's FPV cables to the touchscreen and the other end (terminated with a mini hdmi male connector) to the SBC, I was sure to respect required orientation and seating of the cable. Despite that, the cable became very hot to the touch the moment I plugged the SBC and touchscreen into a power source. This fried my touchscreen! It no longer works!I used a different FPV cable (not from this kit) with the same setup and it works perfectly. The SBC outputs an HDMI signal to a touchscreen and the screen responds to touch input without issues.I followed proper installation steps when using this kit and it caused the destruction of hardware. Based on the heat generation, this is also a potential fire risk.I'd avoid buying this kit, it's dangerous junk.

I bought this kit to use with an Amiga computer and RGB2HDMI setup. The ribbon cables included worked. I was able to test them with other adapters I already had. I could not get any of the connectors included to work. I tried inserting the cables with the silver colored contacts facing in both up and down directions and could not get any kind of HDMI signal. I may end up returning these for a refund.

I used the longest cable and two connectors. It worked great on test but as soon as the cable got moved a little it stopped working. If moved the cable a little bit the signal would come in and out. Of course I am using this for a drone, so finding the "perfect spot" is not a options. The cable never even made it to the maiden flight stage. Return was easy and quick though.

None of these work on anything. Tried all combinations on various units. Nothing.

Missing right angle full size HDMI, but worked for my project.

I like this easy to use little kit. It's a little light on instructions in terms of which side of ribbon cable should face up, but I figured it out. I was disappointed as I could not find any longer ribbon from this seller or manufacturer on AMAZON. I bought this use with my RONIN S for monitoring but it essentially required me to make 3 cables with separately ordered parts to make it long enough (2-3' length of ribbon cable) or the option to order extra parts separately would be appreciated. If your application for HDMI is a very short run, like 12" or less this kit is for you.
