First 100 Lift-the-Flap: Trucks and Things That Go: Over 50 Fun Flaps to Lift and Learn [Priddy, Roger] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. First 100 Lift-the-Flap: Trucks and Things That Go: Over 50 Fun Flaps to Lift and Learn Review: Great quality! - Nice book for boy who loves trucks. Great pictures, good quality, educational. Review: Superb book - This is a flip-the-flaps book. It not only has trucks (a favorite of toddlers) but also has other forms of transportation of every kind. It also shows opposites in size, features colors & it even has a page where the child can count the number of tires a vehicle has & then see if they are right. It's well thought out, has wonderful pictures and has things that other books haven't thought to include. My 20 month old grandson handled the flaps really well & absolutely loves this book.

An Absolute Favorite That's Read Every Single Night
This book was an instant hit with my son. The flaps are sturdy enough for eager little hands, and the pictures are bright, clear, and easy for him to recognize. He absolutely loves it and has his favorite pages that are non-negotiable every single night. We must read the wheel numbers, the color page, and the hot air balloon page, even if we skip others. The simple labels are great for building vocabulary. For any toddler who loves things that go, this book is a guaranteed winner.

He loves his new truck book
Bought this for a friend's little boy who loves trucks and he love, love, loves this book. I was impressed by the sturdiness and the reasonable price. So many little flaps for him to open. All have verbiage that will help him recognize repeated words.

Big book for older child - not really a board book for infants.
This is a nice book but it is not a board book. The pages are thick board book style but the flaps are just a thin flap, easy to rip, a bit thicker than paper. Many pages have photos of trucks that look like flaps but are not so this is frustrating for a toddler. The book is also large almost a foot square. It is 11 inches by 11 inches so when open it is 22 inches wide by 11 inches high. This book has questions to answer that are solved by opening the correct flap. Match the job to the truck, and that sort of thing. I recommend the book but you may have to wait for your child to be ready for it. My guess would be 3 - 4 year old, the child would need some verbal skills. I think this book is best suited for a beginner reader or older child. If you want the board book version with board style flaps, there is one by the same author that is more suitable for a 1 - 2 year old but does not have flaps The title is First 100 Trucks, and things that go. That version is perfect for small hands and a 1 - 2 year old can hold it themselves. If you are looking for board books with board flaps try a search for Lift The Flap Board books. Hope this helps you choose.

This book is big, colourful, well made, and just generally amazing. Especially for its price point, it is so cheap! My son absolutely loves it, see the picture of him cuddling it to sleep to make sure to be careful and gentle with it.

Toddler had fun with the flaps and most vehicles she can identify now. Real images of vehicles and other things that go. Very sturdy with had cover and it’s quite large which is good for us to see the images. Very clear pictures too

After researching a lot, bought this book for my 2 year old son on his birthday. He is fascinated by the book, loves to lift the flaps, and is very inquisitive. Easily keeps him engaged for 15-20mins. There are so many concepts like count the wheels, associating jobs with vehicles, identifying the colors, opposites, etc. My 2 year old is yet to get a grasp of all of them. So, this is a book that will surely grow with him. It can easily keep a 6-8 year old engaged also.

Very nice! More in depth than its board book counterpart. The pages are thick but not boards and the book is very big too, which is fun for my kiddo. Very educational and big winner with my son!
