I prefer to write reviews after I've used a product for a bit. If i write one immediately, I tell myself, I'll update it later. Who am I kidding? I'm not doing that lol so here we go.I bought this bag July 2023 before a trip. Since then, I've used it DAILY for work, it goes with me when I travel (car, plane, whatever) and this thing has stood up to EVERYTHING i've thrown at it. I ride a motorcycle and this was one of the few bags I saw with the full zipper that goes all the way to the bottom, allowing it to open fully. As well as another compartment that goes 3/4 and many, many other smaller compartments.There have been zero tears, rips, nothing. It's a little scuffed here and there because of the leather finish, but very minor. You can not ask for a better backpack. I've stuffed this thing with everything you can imagine and it's never let me down. Love the built in laptop sleeve, the padded straps, the fully opening main compartment, and especially all the little zippered compartments, some are hidden, they're everywhere!If you're looking for a stylish backpack that can handle anything you throw at it, stop looking and buy this!

I’m so impressed at the quality of this bag. I got the three pocket version and was actually seriously surprised by how much more useful it was. Very sturdy, great feeling materials, EXCELLENT design and layout, and looks really great! All of the zippers are very sturdy and of good quality and the fabric around the zips feels extra tough so I don’t have to worry about a pocket breaking and ruining the whole bag. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and padded; the back of the bag has quarter inch padding for your shoulder blades and lower back as well. The smaller adjustable straps that connect the bag to the shoulder straps fee extra tough and are secured very nicely to the bag itself. I’m definitely not going to have to worry about zippers or straps breaking on me. The layout of the bag is really smart. The big pocket opening so deep and folding forward means you can really pack the bag up with a lot of stuff and access what you have on the bottom without having to unload everything else! This has made such a huge difference for me. I use this bag for work where I’m a security officer and it lets me stash all of my equipment, jackets, hat etc in a smart ergonomic way. The other smaller pouches inside the bag feel solid and secure and are stitched nicely to the bag. I haven’t been rained on too hard yet while using the bag but I can tell just by the material texture and fabrics that it’s going to be a solid performer when it comes to water resistance! I love the sleek tidy and professional look of the bag. Very thrilled with it. More than worth the money.

I ordered this bag because my last work bag (eBags - Pro Weekender) was destroyed by my dog. I travel quite a bit for work... ~25% and I had kept snacks in my bag. My dog sniffed them out on multiple occasions and destroyed the inside pockets. Sad day, cause I loved that bag. Looking back now I spent $160 on that bag, and it had lasted me almost 4 years. Some quirks with the design, but I enjoyed it overall. Wasn't the most professional, or the most sleek looking bag, but it did it's duty and it was used a TON.This takes me to scouring the Amazon world for backpacks. I landed on this Mark Ryden. Why? For me the biggest reasons were:- Cost- Aesthetic- Storage Capacity- Tech (USB)I travel with my Steam Deck, plus tons of other tech related items, cables, etc. So I needed a bag that was big enough, that housed my items nicely, and had multiple separate compartments.When I got the bag I was extremely delighted. It's 'tall' so to speak, and I thought the price point was absolutely killer. Includes the same type of material on the inside as the Weekender eBag my dog destroyed. The functionality and design of this thing is just spot on. Quick, easy access to a ton of storage space and pockets. Everything I had found a home, EASILY.Top it off, I can now keep my backup battery plugged in and stored at all times! The USB dongle on the outside is top notch. I tested it immediately and it's a game changer for me personally. Using that on the fly is going to be awesome.Overall, the design is very business friendly. The straps are very comfortable. The design is really good... I mean really good. So much space to include so many electronics and headphones etc.I'm really in love with it. I hope it lasts 4 years like my other bag.A few cons: the material is definitely not "oil friendly" if you're eating something greasy, make sure you wash your hands before touching your bag. It can come out, so hope isn't lost btw use the directions on the bag tag. Another con is the water bottle holder. It's very sleek, but won't hold a big bottle. I'm OK with that.

I was looking for a backpack so I could use pretty much every day to go to work as well as one that I can take with me traveling. I carry a 17 inch gaming laptop with me for work and it fits in the laptop pocket perfectly. My other favorite feature is I can put it over my carry-on handle on top of my suitcase when I’m traveling. It has tons of pockets for storage and is very durable. I love how the main pocket flips open. I’ve packed it with clothes on a day trip of a couple times, plus the olive green is my favorite color. I’ve had this for about a year now and it doesn’t really show any signs of where. I’m pretty rough on my stuff using it every day. I would highly recommend this backpack.
