Hexagon AO Edition All Metal Hot End Kit 1.75mm 12V

I originally bought this as a direct drop-in for my Lulzbot. It took about fifteen minutes to do, and it was up & running in no time. I loved how easy it was, and how consistent it was. Note the "was". Fast forward to a couple of days ago, and I check the status of my print (which I do regularly). The hot end somehow snapped mid-print! PLA was coming from the half-snapped thermal break barrel. When further inspecting it, I came to realise that the barrel is a very thin piece of brass. Why did they not make it out of Stainless Steel or even Aluminum (if they were concerned about galvanizing corrosion)?! I called 3D Makerworld about this, and it went to voicemail. No problem,. I included the story behind what happened, my order number, etc. I even would be completely fine with buying a new barrel, heather block, and heatsink (the barrel sections are completely stuck in the aluminum parts). No response.So, I created a refund request through Amazon, again explaining the situation. Rejected because it's been 45 days. A little over two weeks past the normal 30 day refund policy. Really? You fail to offer any help, and you won't even help a potential future customer (this is not my only printer).I am using someone else for my parts, now on. And I would not recommend this product to anyone. Especially since I'm not the only one to have this happen. But at least they helped him.

As with the other reviewers, the barrel between the heater block and the upper end with the cooling fans snapped. I sent a message to the seller inquiring about a warranty replacement for affected part.

Happy to find the parts I needed.Pic #1 The thermistor came apart, it's fixable.Pic #2 The Center U is slightly off. Once put back together the Hotend had excessive wiggle. Just used the Original.
