Size of the straps could be smaller but I guess if you layer enough flowers it makes sense- that would be my only opinion on a design flaw. I like that it comes with the sponge foam & blotting paper for layering. I was able to use it right away. It’ll come in handy for trips & when my boys pick out flowers 💜

I am very pleased with this item! I used to press flowers the old-fashioned way with books, and this was much more effective! I am using flowers from a family member's wedding centerpieces to make a gift for the bride. The flowers pressed beautifully, and I intend on framing them!

It does great job at pressing plants, however two months in (mb used 5 times) straps snapped in half at their seam/glued section. I would still buy just expect to have to also buy better straps or mend ones provided.

This flower press is nice, and I like the dimensions of it. However, mine didn't show up with the straps used to hold it together, so without a weight on top of it or additional belting, it's pretty much useless. I could go out and buy replacements, but I shouldn't have to. I'm a bit disappointed, but I'm sure a kit with all the parts works great.

I put these flowers in around five days ago and they're beautifully pressed. I don't think they are completely dried out yet but think in a few more days they can go between the pages of a scrapbook to finish off. I only have enough drying plates and sponges for three layers, not four. Nevertheless, if I can get them through the pressing process this quickly I can cope with that. Flower pressing technology has moved on in the 40 or more years since I first did this. I'm enjoying using this and look forward to spring and summer for more plant material.

£16.99 for a bit of thick scuffed cardboard, some plastic straps and plastic. Save your money and make it yourself. Really disappointed.
