No thanks.
I will have to say that I did not throughly enjoy chasing after my 20lb dog because I had assumed that when I tied her up with a cable that stated that it can hold up to 60lbs I was more than trusting that it would indeed hold. I will not be buying another product like this again.

Buyer beware unless you have a chihuahua
I used this cable to let my 40 pup out daily. I bought it less than a year ago and it appeared to be in good shape. Well, it literally snapped in half like it was cut with a scissor and my dog ran away! I watched the whole thing from my door while waiting for him to pee. In 20 seconds he was gone! Luckily I found him an hour later but he’s 40lbs and this says holds 60! So angry this happened.

Chew proof!
We've owned this for a few months now. We have a pretty naughty beagle pup who's almost a year old and can chew through nearly anything, including several previous tie outs. Not this one! We use it on a line in between two trees so that she has plenty of room since we don't have a fenced in yard. Plus the color is really pretty!

Doesn't tangle and pretty chew resistant.
I have a new puppy, Jake, (English Springer Spaniel) and a crate but wanted the puppy to have more range out of the crate to get him use to a larger area as his territory so I used the cable to tie him to the crate with a harness. I used a couple of washable puppy training pads around the crate to catch any accidents. In the first month (8 to12 weeks) he had a few accidents but they all landed on the training pad. Th cable is very sturdy and although my pup loves to chew on it, so far, has not broken through the vinyl coating. The other really nice thing about this cable is that it doesn't twist up like cotton and nylon leads I have used in the past. He's now 14 weeks old and we haven't had an accident in over three weeks. He know his territory around his crate and won't soil it. I'm allowing him more freedom in the house now and so far no accidents. For the most part Springers are clean dogs and reasonably easy to train. Jake has never soiled his crate even in 6 to 7 hours over night. This cable makes it a lot easier to train without the chewing and twisting problems normally associated with other types of traditional leads.

Quality Tie-Outs
I've ordered these tie-outs twice now, and not because they really needed replaced. I live where it freezes & snows & there's a lot of wind & hail & even the occasional nearby tornado, and my tie-outs are left attached outside for my dogs so they go through all that weather & it's pretty hard on them. I bought cheapies ones from Walmart but they only seemed to last about a month or so before the outer coating would start to crack & break off & even the clips would start to jam. When I got my first set of these I was very happy with them. They're strong enough to hold my 80lb pit securely, but also light enough that my little 18lb Shiba has absolutely no trouble at all with them. All 3 dogs are secure and the coating on these lasts very well while the clips are also good quality & the loops are reinforced which makes me NOT worry about the loops snapping (which has happened to me with other tie-outs before). I got the green ones the first time, but they were out of them when I got the 2nd set so we got the black ones, and even though it's been quite a while between the 2 orders the quality is still excellent which makes me very happy. "If it ain't broke don't fix it." Don't fix it. They're great as they are. Light, durable, heavy duty strength -- good quality tie outs.

This works great
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 45lb pitbull and I love it. It's very sturdy and I'm confident in it's strength. I don't have a fence around my front yard so it was difficult taking her outside with me. I'm always with her but this adds an extra level of protection and it's easier than holding a leash

Great tie out
We use this when we go camping for our 35 pound French Bulldog. The longer cables found at pet stores and big box retailers give him too much room to tangle himself up. This length is just right. We either tether him to the picnic table or the bottom step of our fifth wheel. He’s got just enough room to walk around without tying himself in knots around our chairs or feet.

Good quality, happy with purchase
I have a 4 year old husky who doesn't really pull very much but does like to try to chew at her tie-outs. I've had this one about a month and use it indoors (to keep her in the kitchen rather than a baby gate). There are definitely teeth marks and I can see the steel in some places when I stretch it out, but there are no sharp or dangerous bits (at least yet) because of the type of material coating the cord.Overall I've been happy with it. The openers work well and the color was pretty. I will probably replace it in about 3-6 months, depending on dog chew levels, and will buy this one again.
