Use Different Heatshrink
Just the 1 complaint: For the heatshrink to react, my heat gun needed to run at 1,100F and be focused for at least 30 seconds per location. Lower temperature settings wouldnt do the trick. Unfortunately, this temperature was enough to melt my romex insultation.

Would've been perfect if the severed 220v line was horizontal
Would've been perfect if the severed 220v line was horizontal. However, my line was severed on a vertical run and this kit is pretty useless for that since the final mix is runny as eggs and will simply run out the bottom (when vertical) filler opening and the bottom end. I suppose one can tape over these but bottom line: for horizontal repairs only. Nice hardware, better quality than what the usual suspects offer.

Not a good way to splice wires!
This is a crap way of splicing wires and would not meet a lot of codes! I have been a electrician since 1969 and would never use something like this! Very bad design!
