Great shoes!!!
I bought these again, because the last pair I had lasted 3 years, and I wore them almost everyday, through all kinds of tasks, and all kinds of weather, except really deep snow. The hiking soles are second to none. I've never slipped or fallen. Extremely comfortable. There are some small, slight differences in their manufacture, but it shouldn't affect quality or comfort. They r well made, and I hope they last as long as my previous pair. If I had to say anything bad, they break in hard. Still having a problem just sliding my feet in them. I had that problem with my last pair, and it soon went away. If anything changes for the worse I will change my review, but I think KEEN is a quality shoe and I won't have to.

Excellent work shoe very comfortable
Great value for the money, very comfortable, waterproof or at least water resistant, I own several pair and keep it extra pair on hand just in case I need them. They slip on durable leather and fit great.

Just received
I just received these today and thought I would share a few points. I so this with all new footwear that I get. I always wear them around inside the house for several days or a week before venturing outdoors in anything I get. First, it minimizes dirt and scuffs so that if I need to return them, they aren’t so trashed that they can’t re-sell them to someone else who might appreciate them. Second, it gives me an option to get them off if they turn out to be uncomfortable and I can wear something else, rather than being miles from home and stuck in something uncomfortable. And third, if f they turn out great, they will start to conform to my feet and take on a a form fitting shape that will be an easy transition as an outdoor shoe. I have done this without any issues for decades in all my footwear.Upon seeing other reviews, I see that some people say that the stitching doesn’t hold up well with rough use. Now that I have these, there is a lot of overlay panels of leather on these, and usually what I do is I will generously coat shoes like this with Obenaufs. It’s a leather treatment and I find that it preserves the leather and lubricates it as well as the stitching. This will minimize threads from fraying and possibly tearing out or busting seams. I know most people won’t bother and most people probably feel that a good pair of shoes shouldn’t need this process if they are made well. That’s a fair point. But, I like insurance and I want my purchases to last as long as possible. Adding this product to the shoes also conditions them and armors them against the elements a bit, which only adds to the value and longevity of the shoes.Fit: These are really tight out of the box. The top of the “tongue” keeps curling in as I put them on and I have to use my finger to flip it back. It hurts a bit. I am assuming it’s because they are new and I hope they become more pliable. The Obenaufs will surely help with that. The overall fit is very snug at this point. I am a true 9.5 and ordered a 9.5.I will update this review if it becomes necessary as these wear in.

Sturdy, good looking and comfortable
So far one of the best pair of every day shoes I've owned since I can remember. Good fit, traction and looks. Also good for all weather (well except for ankle deep snow).

Overall a great winter shoe!
After 3 weeks it seems to be a great shoe. Fairly easy to slip on, comfortable, well made, good non slip soles. As reported by others, fit is snug.

Do the try before you buy option.....
This would be my third pair of Keen Slip on 8.5 shoes. I hate to leave a so so review as I have been very happy with these in the past. They have been the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I started wearing these for the comfort and work durability as I needed to be on my feet for long hours at a time. I have found previously that these shoes provided great comfort, support, although they are a work shoe I have worn them in dress up situations as well. My high arch and wide foot have previously fit. I was very disappointed when I went to try the replacement pair on and found I am not able to get my foot into the shoe even with the aid of a shoe horn. Returning this pair. I already using the 8.5 as the half size increase.... not sure if going to a 9in length would help. Would alternatively switch from the Keen Targhee 3 to the Keen PTS style slip on if my size was in stock at Amazon. Considering alternative brands like Merrills.

Amazing alternative to other big bands
Absolutely amazing pair of dependable, durable, and effective “hiking boots” in a slip on form factor. Many years ago I had a similar in style pair of Merrell Moab - very similar in nearly every way. Those shoes lasted me for YEARS! Only replaced as the tread was literally gone. Got another of the same Merrells and within a couple weeks the seams were tearing and the cloth part where you skip your heel along was ripped and the foam exposed. These Keens are a few months old now and have minimal wear after daily wearing in all sorts of conditions.
