UPDATE: I was crashed my road bike while cruising downhill at 20mph. The majority of impact was on my side (shoulder and arm) but I definitely smacked my head on the pavement and if it wasn't for this helmet...I wouldn't be writing this review. Some trail walkers saw me crash and after they made sure I was okay, one of them replied "Thank God you were wearing a helmet because you hit your head hard." It's difficult to tell with the included picture but there's just a minor scuff on the shell of the helmet from the crash. The helmet is still structurally sound. Overall I'm grateful for this excellent product from Roam.UPDATE #2: Purchased a second helmet for the wifey (in black!) and she's a big fan. She loves the light in the back and says it's comfortable.Initial Review:I ride my bike all the time - I commute to work, ride with the kids and take extended rides for exercise. This helmet was significantly less expensive than my previous yet the features set this helmet apart:-The goggles are magnetic to the helmet. I initially thought these would impair my vision but that hasn't been the case at all and I can ride with my regular glasses (not sun-glasses).-The dial in the rear of the helmet is fixed with a LED light. Came with an extra battery too!-Lots of vents and removable pads. I sweat a ton but this helmet has kept it out of my eyes and I can wash the pads

This helmet is great, I am even able to wear my glasses under the visor if I have the helmet on down enough in the front. It seems to have great airflow and just comfortable overall. Only issue is that the wrap around for the loose straps once I tighten the helmet doesn't hold them in place and slowly slides out and then flap in the wind so need to reset it after every ride.

Fits nicely for the most part and the visor gives decent wind protection, but it touches my nose a bit much

Great value. Made well. Comfortable except for the wavy lines in the visor, but not too bad. Definitely helps deflecting wind from your eyes, love the red safety light. Strap is comfortable

Looks good and fits well, I won’t know how well it protects until I hit my head lol. I had a little trouble with fitting, I couldn’t get the chin strap tight enough. I found the straps end under the pad near the buckle and I could take up slack there so the side adjusters worked. Might work if straps are too short too. I wondered if replacement goggles are available in the same or different shades. It’s a big piece of clear plastic and probably will be dropped or run over on its time with me. I think it’s a great product at a great price

Good quality, stylish, and lightweight. Came with battery in light, and with a spare battery. Has velcro strap to hold excess strap. Arrived earlier than promised.

Overall I like the helmet. My only issue is with the magnetic sun/wind screen. One of the reasons I purchased this was the windscreen. My regular sunglasses don’t let air in very well and I get sweaty. I thought the sunscreen would help but I find it’s not dark enough to really screen the sun and it also distorts everything. Other than that it’s a good helmet. I do like the strobe light on the back of the helmet. That was another reason I purchased it

The helmet is light and can be adjusted for a perfect fit. The taillight attached to the helmet was turned on and no amount of button presses could kill it. The battery finally died so no more flashing light. All in all a good value helmet. Just don’t count in the tail light.
