DOCKERSMen's Ultimate Straight Fit Supreme Flex Shorts

This new version of these Dockers shorts still fit very well. What did the designers screw up? The back pockets used to be buttoned, now there are no buttons, making the shorts much less secure for one's wallet. The cell phone pocket used to be well-placed ony the right front, and was deep enough for a cell phone. The new cell phone pocket is in the back of the shorts, is not long enough for a cell phone, and is covered by my belt, making it totally unusable. Finally, they added a zippered pocket on the right front which gets in the way of the regular pocket, is too short for a cell phone, and has no particular reason to be there at all. All in all, someone took a classic shorts design and bollixed it up.

I purchased three different colors in these shorts because they stated a flexible waist. It does not so beware. probably returning them because they'll be too tight. Otherwise, nice shorts.Changed review 2 days later..... I feel like an idiot; someone who reviews without trying or wearing the item. These are awesome shorts! They do have a flexible waist. I repeat...they do have a flexible waist! I highly recommend these shorts. In fact, the best shorts I've ever had. I bought 3 more colors. Buy these shorts! You won't be disappointed.

These fit great! Good for large muscular thighs. Love the fee of the fabric. Nice and cool. The mesh pockets are awesome and are good for preventing moisture build up on your phone screen on a hot day like some pockets. Looking to get another in a different color!

FIRST, I ordered these two waist sizes bigger than other shorts I wear. And they fit perfect. To be exact, I usually wear a a size 50, and I ordered a 54. I've just learned to do this with internet garments, especially Dockers and Levis. But also, this sizing issue is typical among men of girth. If you're a 36 waist, you'll likely be just right with a 36 or 38 waist with these.The length is as advertised which is a couple of inches shorter than most dress shorts, as was noted in the product description. This is a great length for me at a very short 32 inch inseam. Though I am 6 ft tall. You taller, thinner guys may need longer. But the legs hit me right at the upper knee, which is so hard for me to find these days instead of the legs being down around my ankles. Cool!The color is as it was pictured, which is always a pleasant surprise. It's a little more dark-tan than Khaki, but that's what I was expecting.Now, the quality. I couldn't ask for more. Know that they are stretchy as advertised, not 100% cotton by any means. But, very, very comfy. Big men take note here. We love our slightly stretchy waist bands. And this one is nice. There's just enough room in the rear end too, but I have a lot of rear end. These are generally so comfortable I hardly notice I have them on. They're more like a soft polyester gym shorts than dress denims. And the price here at my time of purchase is incredible. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great quality. They hit above my husband’s knee, but he doesn’t like shorts that are long. All of the pockets are nice to have—there are two “hidden” pockets that he likes a lot. Super comfortable and they can be dressed up or down. The only concern is that the pockets are mesh instead of solid…he’s worried they might get holes in them.

Fits great looks good. Now all I need are most shoes, and a polo to be the biggest douche in the yacht club

They wrinkle terribly - huge creasing wrinkles that are impossible to iron out. It’s very frustrating because otherwise they are great shorts. My son hates wearing anything form fitting but he does not complain about these. Still, I wouldn’t buy them again because of how they wrinkle.I am a seamstress and know fabric and fabric care. So I know it isn’t something I am doing wrong.

After a few washing the shorts got a little tight in the crotch and legs. I am still able to wear them and will continue to monitor if there is any more shrinkage.Update: September 25. Unfortunately, they've continued the shrink a little each washing. They have become uncomfortable to wear. I'm an active person and expect my summer shorts to flex and not to be too tight. They are 98% cotton. The material was thick so I assume they will last quite a while. They made it 3 months but I will donate to a charitable organization. By the way, I am 10 pounds lighter than when I first put them on.

Bought these for my husband specifically because there is supposed to be a Cell phone pocket located NEAR the back. Trouble is,…it isn’t a pocket for a phone..too far back and if you kept your phone there, you would sit on it…called a “Secure pocket” Other Dockers models do have that pocket for a phone and it works great. So, nice shorts, but not suitable for the purpose. They have been returned.

These shorts are nicely made..good quality. but, I bought them for my husband because the write up says that there is a Cell phone pocket …there isn’t..the pocket is a “Secure pocket”..located around the back of the short up by the waist band…if he tried to put his phone in it, he would sit on it.. There are other Docker shorts with a nicely placed phone pocket.So I had to return this pair.

Fit just as expected and are a good pair of shorts. However the "red" colour looks more peachy in the photo...but in person they are way more bright pink than anything else which was a bit of a disappointment.

But.. they are not. They looks the same, have the same Dockers name.. but the material is vastly subpar, and they don't fit nearly as well. Same price though.

Actual colour is very bright and bold. Unlike the picture where it seems to have a subtle washed tone.
