It works great for my cat and her backpack adventures! She’s completely unhindered by wearing it, which is super important for a cat on the go. It fits her perfectly, so I’m glad my concerns it wouldn’t fit her were unnecessary! She’s a tiny girl(But also chubby), so harnesses are difficult, adding to that this is meant for a dog 😅 either way, I love it and she tolerates it, what else could I ask for?

We’ve been using the voyager step in harness for a few months now and it’s official...Turk (my dog) doesn’t run away from the harness anymore! This is the only harness Turk hasn’t literally hidden from and he doesn’t even try to remove it once it’s on anymore!I think the key difference is the step-in design because he HATED when I had to pull the old harness over his head. This harness has both front and back buckles, so I just unclip on one side and he steps right out. No more struggling to get the first loop over his squirmy little head! The front material is also very soft n plushy compared to traditional harnesses and all 4 modest sized buckles are on the top side to prevent any pinching.One word of advice: Follow instructions on the size chart and actually measure your dog before ordering! The measurements were very true to size once I took the time to follow the instructions and measure... Extra small size was too tiny for my 8 lb. little chunker, but size Small fit perfect with room to adjust if he gains more weight (which is likely given Turk is geriatric and at 14yrs old we let him eat what he wants!)

This is the 8th harness I have tried and only one that fit my short-neck cat. All others were too long and buckled between neck and chest strap. Buckles are medium size which is great- not too bulky or too tiny, easy to use! Very happy!

The only thing wrong with these harness is the sizing is much larger than specifies.the small says 13- 20 inch chest and my dog has a 15 inch but it was a lot large I had order an x small which is 11-16 inch and this one fits perfectly.

One of my cats is an escape artist - he's been able to get out of several other harnesses. This one seems to offer a more solid fit. I think if he really tried he could still get out, but this harness is better than any other I've tried in that regard.It takes a second to figure out how to put it on, but once you get it on, it's extremely sturdy and seems like it wouldn't be terribly uncomfortable for the cat. Pulling on the leash pulls the whole body, not just one isolated area.

We got a S for our 13 pound really fluffy cat (measured 16" chest under all the fluff) and it fits pretty well.It's great that it has 3 separate clasps so we don't have to convince her to step into it or lift her paws through any loops - just attach the first strap around her collar area, then tuck the harness between her front legs and pull the 2 remaining straps up to click into the back/top of the harness.It took a little practice to get her used to it - when we first tried indoors she thought it felt funny to walk so would just take a few steps and then sit down. But with a little coaxing and some treats, she got comfortable enough that she would walk short distances indoors while wearing the harness and occasionally do some small jumps up and down from the couch with it on. Once we took her outside, she completely forgot she had the harness on and got really comfortable walking around to sniff everything in our backyard.The only problem is that now she knows about the outdoors so she keeps begging to go out!

This harness fits my 5 pound Chihuahua well except for when we go on walks. For some reason, there are 2 hooks on this harness as opposed to the 1 in the picture and that other reviewers have described. There's too much space between the hooks to hook them together with the leash, so I don't know which was intended to be the one for the leash. Neither work well.Additionally, the middle strap moves way too much side to side, even though the harness is fitted to my chi's body. As such, the strap flops to one side as she walks, which causes her to walk off-kilter. I'll be returning, as this causes her issues. I'm not sure if I received a defective harness, as other customers report having only one hook and a strap that does not slip. But I will be buying another product instead of exchanging.

I bought this for my 1.5 year old Maltipoo. He’s 14.5lbs and in-between a small and a medium. I went ahead with a small since he’s not a growing pup anymore. It fits perfectly and he has a little wiggle room!! It seems comfortable on him too, he doesn’t try to pull at it like he does with previous harnesses. Love it! Harness is great, got one in Xxs for a British short hair kitten. So far so good but it doesn’t come with a leash... which was disappointing. I hadn’t paid attention to that as harnesses without leash are pretty much useless IMO. And they usually come with one.

We have two of these harnesses that we bought for our rabbits. One rabbit is 7lbs and the harness fits fine but the buckles are big so they get in the way of her turning her neck. Our second rabbit is 2.8lbs so we bought the xxxs because the measurements indicated that it would fit. It comes close but is still too big for his little neck. Technically I could alter it myself and I wouldn't mind doing so except the straps and buckles are huge for this little guy. The manufacturer does not adjust the straps and buckles when they scale down the harness size ultimately rendering the harness useless because the large buckle literally prevents the smaller animals from turning their head. I believe this would apply to any animal small you would try put this harness on.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have 2 cats very good at escaping from the harness. I got this one for both of them and after a week they were not able to take it off. My older boy loves to go for a walk and it keeps him cool since this is not a vest type.It is nice since you can adjust as per your cat's size

We love these Voyager vests for out cat. He's currently about 11 lbs, EXTREMELY fluffy (he's a Siberian), extremely active, and gets hot easily. We like this vest because there isn't a lot of fabric so when he's out in the heat, it's not keeping him too hot, but there's enough that if it gets tugged on, it doesn't choke him. (We got the camo pattern and it blends in perfectly with his fur.) He did get out of it once, but I have a feeling we just need to make it tighter. The challenge is, he's so fluffy that if we pre-tighten it, we won't get it on him without pinching his fluff in the buckles. But it's also not realistic for us to tighten them once it's on him, because...well, it's difficult enough to get it on in the first place. He both feels he's being attacked and would love to chew on the buckles... We keep the left side pre-buckled at all times, so one half of it is step-in. The other two buckles on the right side we have to buckle around him. This is significantly more challenging (and less enjoyable for him) than the step-in, velcro, full-fabric Voyager vest we had before, but we needed an XXS and that one only goes down to XS. Overall, I can't complain too much because I don't know how many options there would be to make this better. It seems to be a great vest, it just presents a challenge for us every time we want to put it on our fluff-monster of a boy.

I ordered a medium and it's too big. After actually measuring it, the smallest the medium will go is 14" neck and 19" chest (which is actually the dimensions for the large). So maybe buy a size down from what the sizing chart says. Other than that the quality is really good. I will be returning and buying a smaller size.
