With this figure, you too can check your privilege while fawning over everyone's "favorite" Avenger.In case you didn't know, Hot Toys are glorified Barbie Dolls made for manchildren. They have creepily real faces, and are overall terrifying aberrations.The figure itself is good for a Captain Marvel figure. It's articulation is adequate, sculpt and attention to detail is amazing. The outfit is tight, shiny, and sexy. The only issue is... it's Captain Marvel. She literally only has one face! A hateful, boring, bland face. Would it kill them to give her a smile? They gave her an actual butt (which some may argue is an inaccuracy), so why not give her something to make her a little more human?As it stands, she looks like Vigo from Ghostbusters II. Even now, she's looking at me, judging me for my hetero-normative lifestyle. Only buy it if you are a Captain Marvel fan (Ha!) or have some kind of plan. I plan on using mine for my Johnny from Ed, Edd, and Eddy cosplay. She'll be a genderbent Plank.
