Calabria1106 Metal Pilot Reading Glasses in GunMetal +1.25 Spring Hinge 55mm

Because my lenses include correction for slight misalignment (cockeye), to read music scores on a stand I need low-power readers large enough to wear over my prescription glasses. These work perfectly for that purpose.

The glasses fit great and work well for my intended purposes. The only problem I had was that the left temple was bent and almost broken. I was able to fix this without breaking the temple. The packaging was a ziploc bag inside an envelope, with no real protection against being crushed.

Got some prescription readers -- very expensive. They work only in a band just in front of your eyes, which means your head has to be in a certain relationship to the material. This is a problem -- I often lay down in bed with my computer on my chest, which made it hard to get to the proper angle. These glasses look good and can be used at any angle. Much better for me. The only downside is that if you want to shift your gaze to distance you have to take them off, can't simply look over the prescription area.

I have purchased these glasses in the past and have no complaints. These new ones are fuzzy around the outer edge of the glasses. If I look straight at my tv the vision is good. But if I look off to the side without moving my head, the clock on my end table is fuzzy. I purchased 2 of these and they are basically unusable, not a happy camper.

I've been wearing them since receipt of same. The nose pads are screw attached and can be changed to softer feel nose pads. Not brass therefore no green corrosion to be removed.

Good glasses, in the style I wanted. The frame feels sturdy and the optics are very good. I will buy these again.

Fit well and and are as described. Non- Bi-focal readers that allow for ease of use.

The top and bottom third of the lens is out of focus, blurry. This leaves the middle third of the lens in focus, which defeats having such a large lens. The limitation reduces these glasses to granny glasses. I intended to use these glasses for driving which would have presented a liability.
