Straw Goat-Julbock - 12" Tall

I was surprised when I got this. It was very well made and looks beautiful on my bookshelf!

This somehow managed to get here about a week early. Good to see Julbock's still surprise people at their homes! :D In perfect shape: Can stand on its own and ribbon not even lose. I'll add a picture soon!

Item packaged well and really cute!

I wanted to have a mini gavle goat for the holidays. It was delivered on time and well packaged. The dimensions made me think it would be smaller but it was a decent size

Cute and well made. Withstood multiple falls from the top of the fridge on behalf of the cats.

We got him right on time, and he feels pretty solid, but our goat showed up in a bubble wrap shipping envelope.His front foreleg had been obviously pressed upon by something, not harshly, but had been sort of thrown out of alignment from the other 3 due to pressure and caused a bend in the straw of the leg. I needed to wedge them open until the straw fibers got used to the configuration. Not a big fix, now you can't tell there was ever anything wrong, but a bit careless to ship such a delicate item this way. His straw grain beard looked pretty good, but the horns were broken as if the grain had not been soaked thoroughly enough for the straw to be braided without snapping. Again, not a huge flaw, I wouldn't even bring it up except that I had been considering making one with my own hands, but I currently live in an apartment in which I cannot soak straw or dry it without making a mess I can't clean.All-in-all, he's a decent substitute if you don't want to spend the time or money making your own. Some minor flaws, but it looks like the picture and is cheap enough for the price that I don't mind his quirks. He'll be living on our mantle for as long as we can keep him.
