My sister in law had one and when I tried hers I loved it. I have thick and curly hair and it works amazing.

My kid lost her first one and I had to get her this as a replacement. We found the old so now she has two. She likes it because it makes her long straight hair smooth. My hair is more wavy so this is not the brush for me. It tends to try to smooth out the waves.

I love this brush. This is the second one I have purchased. The first lasted several years. I love how it feels on my scalp, it's almost like getting a mini scalp massage! And the wood is beautiful. Highly recommend.

This is great well made brush, I have 2 of them. It is the kind of brush you want to use with dry shampoo, to spread it appropriately, or use it at night to keep your hair soft.

Causes split ends don’t buy !

If you have really thick hair, this brush might work for you. I had used this for a while and wondered why my hair still looked oily at the top, then paid attention to the bristles themselves and saw that the boar bristles couldn't actually reach the hair at the top of my head because the nylon bristles are so long. While my hair is thick, it is pretty fine, so this brush just won't work for what I needed it to do. It's great at getting tangles out of fine hair though.
