PathfinderGear 26 Inch Rolling Drop Bottom Duffel, Olive, One Size

I bought This bag for my daughter who is going off to college because I know that it will last! I know this because This was my 6th Pathfinder purchase. I am a traveling consultant and I bought my first Pathfinder luggage set in 1999 and it still travels with me today.I love that it has so many convenient storage compartments, it sturdy, durable, looks great, plus it gives you the best of both luggage types with the top section that functions like a duffle bag and the bottom that functions like a hard suitcase where you can store delicate or fragile items if you need to.I have four children and now we are all members of the pathfinder family! It's the best luggage money can buy!

Ordered two of these duffels for an upcoming trip to the Galapagos, followed by an African safari. Have yet to use them, but needed replacements for our old duffels that have seen the world, so to speak. Very sturdy construction (material and wheels, especially), great toggle zippers, perfect size for gear/clothing for two-week trips to more remote locales, plenty of zippered compartments, and the drop bottom is a plus, in my book. A tad heavy (at 9+ lbs), but probably better able to withstand the merciless pounding that is a fact of life in the travel world. Bright orange trim and luggage tag should make it easy to spot and identify. Packing and shipping of the items was first-rate. Will post again after we've used them.

Bought for a trip to Jamaica last June & it's been on several trips since. Seems to be well made & has lots of room/pockets for various items. Also like waterproof zipper lining between main compartment & lower boot well. Keeps damp clothing/shoes away from dry items. Rollers & handle seem durable & make it easy to carry around airports & hotels. Only complaint I have is when the handle is upright & you need to stop (at a Ticket counter or hotel check in) the bag will not prop itself upright, tends to fall back toward the ground, thought I might have packed incorrectly but continued to do same thing entire trip. Otherwise a great bag that I hope will last for years to come.

Purchased because it fits more items in my opinion. I read some reviews about getting it to stand up with only 2 wheels, as you can see, it does stand up! Love traveling with it, so far.

This is a nice looking bag. Nice compartments and good space However. Just like alot of the other reviews, it just doesn't stand upright due to the weak side wall. Huge design flaw for an expensive bag. If you don't plan to stand the bag upright then this bag may suit your needs. I'm still on the hunt.

I used this on a two week trip to New Zealand and it worked great. If You were to fully pack this duffel, it WILL NOT fit into an overhead bin. Don't even try it. You are better off checking it in and getting a day pack as a carry on (I used a Kelty Redwing 32 Liter Backpack). That being said , it worked great for traveling the two weeks. I needed something mobile (wheels) and sturdy because this trip involved daily travel to specific places. Plus , I was with a group of 11 other people and luggage was stowed in a trailer. This duffel needed to fit. And , it did. The issue with security via air-travel is simple. Buy TSA approved locks. The duffel bag is durable.

The wheels of this bag have fallen apart, and so I bought another one, same thing, each time the bag has the wheels linings fall off.For this price they should last better.

I knew the duffle bag would not stand up on its own, but I was ok with that. The part I am most unhappy with is that it does not hold its shape. Also hard to open zipper between upper and lower section. Overall this bag is not very user friendly. I wish I would have used it before the returnable date as I would have sent it back for a refund.
