Great Reel, Great Price
love Lews reels and this low end reel is still a great reel. smooth and cast great for 50.00 i recommend this for beginners and for they guys who want a rig for every bait style but have limited budget. will buy more and i have 2 of these already. also i put them on the KVD IG8 Graphite rods. got those on sale for 80.00i always put a drop of oil on the bearings straight of the box.

5 stars for firsts impressions
Super smooth and quiet reel. Casts far and minimal backlashing with dialed in brakes. Im using it strictly for a rattletraping rod and ts performing great, has landed a few already but nothing big enough to put the drag system to the test, yet.... Very firm feel as well. No twisting around in your grip when under load like cheaper plastic framed reels. Reel has a much lower profile than comparable baitcasters, very easy to palm, so if you hace huge hands this will feel like a baby baitcaster. For under $60 its a great value and has better feel and smoothness than many of my more expensive reels. Id reccomend this and I wish they had it in more gear ratios, a slower one for cranking would be nice.

It Rips Those Lips!
Great reel for the price! It handles big bass and can cast a good distance. Easy to setup the braking system and gave me no problems casting into stiff headwinds. I do notice some flex in the frame especially when reeling in a good sized bass but it isn't terrible. For the price, this reel is the deal!
