BLANCO442062 Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet, 1.5 GPM, Metallic Gray/Stainless Sonoma

I just spent over a month looking for a new faucet to go with a new kitchen remodel and looked at hundreds and hundreds of faucets and chose this one. I actually purchased this faucet in Metallic gray, anthracite and stainless and selected the Metallic Gray as it matched my kitchen the best.This is a very durable and well built faucet. It seems to be made of more sturdy materials that the Moen, Delta, or any other name brand faucets that I looked at.I chose the 2.2 gal/minute option, but you could safely go with a lesser flowing faucet as well as mine is extremely powerful on the sprayer mode and I often have to turn down the volume of water unless I have the sprayer down in the sink.I matched this with a Kraus 33" Forteza Granite sink which is wonderful. I chose the Kraus sink over the Blanco sink only based on the necessity for my sink to have the drain positioned in a very certain location, which Blanco granite sinks did not have, but I would go with a Blanco granite sink as well if it fit my kitchen.I also matched it with the Blanco soap dispenser, which is made from all metal parts and is better built than any other soap dispenser I looked at (I also purchased 4 different soap dispensers to ensure I had the best option).I also paired this with a Kraus drying rack.Note: The anthracite is a perfect match for the Kraus gray sink, but I need the metallic gray faucet to better compliment my quartz counter top.

I bought this faucet to replace a fairly new one that just didn’t have good water pressure. I installed this one myself, a little complicated but if you take your time and study the instructions, it can be a DIY install. I already had a Blanco sink which also was new so I chose the color, Cinder, that matched my sink and it looks so good but the best part is the water pressure is great, both the spray and the stream. I just love this faucet. This is what I should have bought in the first place but so glad I have it now. I highly recommend this product. You can choose the accent color that matches your sink or do all stainless. Great purchase and good value.

No issues since installed. Very happy with it. There are two flow levels available, if you don’t care which one to get the other one might be a bit cheaper.

4/2/18 Updated Review - 4.5 Stars (half star deducted since the pull down makes the metal scraping sound - see below)I wrote to Blanco after the handle issue recurred and they sent me a replacement handle, no questions asked and no charge. It was easy to install and clear that the original had stripped threads inside when it was assembled before shipping. The replacement handle works great now and has not had a problem since installing it about 4-5 months ago.Bought in Aug 2016 - Great style and function except...1. The metal tubing makes a high pitched screeching sound when using the pull down.It's due to the metal on metal design. I have another pullout faucet and it doesn't make an offensive sound. More muted and deeper tone is less agitating. Makes the experience of using the faucet less luxurious and pleasant.2. The handle got loose and falling off after 8 months.The set screw would only tighten up so far, then just spin around. (I was not using an electric drill - just a regular screwdriver.) So I took the handle off and removed the screw. When I took out the screw, a bunch of metal filings fell out. I looked closer with a magnifying glass and could see that the threads inside the handle were stripped. That is why the handle would not stay in place as the screw could not be tightened down.I was able to get it to stay on by adding a bit of plumbers tape to give the screw something to grip. But this is a short term solution and the handle is loose again.I am sure this was a manufacturing defect since the handle was already attached when I received the faucet, so neither the plumber nor I had to put the handle on.I wrote to Blanco via their Contact Us page on their website and asked for a replacement part. I am waiting for their response.

I LOVE this new faucet. We redid our cabinets and countertop earlier this month and this was the faucet we went with after much research. I've heard great things about Blanco and wanted a pull-down that didn't require a bunch of holes, say for soap or knobs. I think it's is a super, sleek, and simple type of faucet, if that's what you're looking for.Installation wasn't difficult, just make sure that the weight for the pull down is in the correct spot so that it retracts. Water pressure is just what we need and swivelling head is a plus. Very glad we went with this model.We even got this with Amazon Warehouse so the box was slightly damaged but the faucet was in perfect condition and we saved $$$. The countertop company wanted about $150 more for this model through them - a great purchase all around!

This is very high quality faucet that is well worth the price. Our previous kitchen faucet claimed to be 1.5 GPM, but our measurements showed that it really only put out about .9 GPM. This new Blanco Sonoma claims to be 2.2 GPM and that's exactly what we get. It has a very powerful stream and easy to use buttons. No dripping or issues whatsoever. It was straightforward to install ourselves, and we would buy this faucet again every time.

We have two of these - one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room. They are operating perfectly so far (2-3 months of use) and are easy to keep clean. My only issue is with water flow. I find that it is difficult to adjust the tap to give me the "right amount of low". Too much and there can be splashing with the spray on and too little and there is not enough power to rinse. Otherwise happy with the purchase. It is too new to have a view on reliability.
