5PCS Forehead Thermometer, CIMA Digital Infrared Thermometer for Kids and Adults, Non-Contact Digital Thermometer with Instant Accurate Reading, Fever Alarm and Memory Function

It arrived in beaten up Jiffy bag packaging containing a battered cardboard box and within that a plastic mould to hold the thermometer. But it worked OK. First problem was which way to put in the two not supplied AAA batteries. See photo for the solution. The battery cover kept falling open to begin with but after sliding it backwards and forwards a few times it settled in and stayed shut. I contacted the seller who agreed a return but that was not needed.I am using rechargeable batteries so it is showing low charge all of the time. That's not a problem as it appears to read accurately still. It is easy to use, it has three buttons but you will probably only ever use the large one to switch between measuring body temperature and other house temperatures. To check your body temperature ensure the word 'body' appears when you squeeze the trigger then hold it 30-50mm from the forehead and await the beep. The temperature is then displayed. It turns off after a few seconds.Very nice product. No need to pay £50 in Boots, just get this.

I bought this at the beginning of lockdown, it didn't arrive for about 8 weeks but when it did it was well packaged and seems to work well. I have removed one star because it took much longer to arrive than it said (I realise things took longer but this should have been communicated) and also the price has reduced massively since I bought it which makes me think the supplier had overpriced due to demand. Apart from my grumpiness about that, it is a good product which is very easy to use and I have calibrated it against a couple of others belonging to friends and it seems to be pretty accurate.

Have had a lot of use from this item used also by the family. Have purchased another one. Easy to use and good value for the money

The instructions were in such a minute font I had to use a magnifying glass! I tried to set the forehead thermometer up as instructed but nothing seemed to work. The temperature on screen changed each time from 32c to 36.6c. The package didn't have any padding around it and it was clear that one corner of the box had taken a significant bang. I would like to return it but sending it back to China would be more than the item is worth so do I have to just out it down to a bad experience?

When I ordered this, as you can see from the ad. 5pcs. In my world, that means 5 items, which I know would be an amazing bargain, but not impossible. It arrived eventually and although there was only one item it did what it is supposed to do. However, messages were sent from seller to myself and vice versa but I have been totally let down by both the seller and amazon. As you can see from the ad. It still says 5pcs. As far as I can see the only explanation is that it has been totally missold. The seller also blamed amazon for incorrectly stating 5pcs. Needless to say I feel totally let down by both the seller and amazon. Customer satisfaction - 0. Customer service - 0. What more can I say.

Somethings only cheap it works. this was cheap and didn't work. i had misplaced my old braun one and these seemed to be what everyone is currently using so i thought i would give it a try. i didn't think the temperature could be right as it was measuring much lower than i usually am. anyway my old Braun thermometer turned up so i tested it against it and i was right - it is measuring incorrectly. plus it gives inconsistent measurements too. i messaged the company who asked me several questions then offered a 50% refund if i give them a good review. i wont do that and would rather tell people the truth. Dont buy it - buy a better one. you dont want to be stuck with this if you catch covid you will want one that works. :)

Item is easy to use, my 6 year old is in charge of checking the family daily. Display is clear and simple to understand. Excellent item. Packaging however was awful, stuffed in a small plastic bag, crushed box but item itself undamaged.

Whilst the product took a little longer to arrive than I expected, it was delivered by Royal Mail.The product could have been better packaged but luckily the contents were not damaged and worked perfectly well after I inserted two AAA batteries (nit supplied) correctly.My only observation is that the picture of the item sold shows three distinct colour bands....this unit has no such thing but the digital readings are easily readable.Overall, it is much cheaper than other similar items being sold on Amazon.
