Disclaimer: I'm a retired locksmith, so I copied the keys myself. The two keys programmed flawlessly on my 2005 Ford Freestar. The price for a two pack was a good value

I bought these to make backup (clone) copies of my 2 OEM (ORIGINAL) keys.They were shipped quickly and arrived per Prime 2 day shipping. Took them to the local ACE Hardware and they cut them for less than $3.00 a key. I then programmed them using the two OEM keys. Put each OEM key in and turn on, then off - then insert new key and turn on, then off. DONE!!!NOTE: THE ABOVE PROCEDURE ONLY CLONES YOUR EXISTING KEYS!!!! YOU MUST HAVE TWO "OEM" KEYS THAT ARE ALREADY PROGRAMMED INTO THE VEHICLE'S PCM TO CLONE YOUR CURRENT KEY!!!!!!If you do NOT have the two ORIGINAL keys that came NEW with the vehicle or have PAID a locksmith or dealer to program at least TWO keys to your PCM, you will have to PAY one or the other to program these keys!!!It is a good idea to keep at least one unused key in a safe place around your house. Each time you use a key to lock or unlock a lock, it wears a small amount of that key away. After a lot of use, a key will no longer open a lock due to this wear. I know from experience, that a dealer or locksmith will charge a small fortune to change out all of the locks on your vehicle or manually create a new key to fit your OEM lock, once your keys are worn too far!!!

Programmed easily using instructions in the manual for my 2011 Ford Ranger. Other keys I bought on ebay did not work.

This key fit my 2010 Ford F-150 XLT Super Crew and my daughters 2011 Ford Escape XLT so it was a no brainer to buy the 2 key set. I went to my local Ace because of what other reviews had touted but they wouldn't cut my keys because I wasn't buying their key to scan for a UPC code. I called a local locksmith and he told me he would cut the keys (small fee) for me but told me he didn't think they would work. He said if it works to let him know. I just left from the locksmith and as soon as I got home I followed the directions from the website on the key bag and programmed both new keys and on the first try they immediately started our cars. I saved over $200.00 versus going to the Ford dealer. Highly recommend this key if it fits your vehicle.

Keys used on '06 F150. Programmed normally in a matter of seconds. I received 2 different styles. One with a large opening as pictured in the Amazon listing and the other with a smaller hole. The large hole key is very similar the the OEM style and my experience with the large hole design is the plastic band that hooks onto the keychain will ALWAYS break off. I've broken many of these style keys from the OEM. This large hole key that I bought here has an additional physical weakness built into it. There is a groove at the base at each end of the plastic band that will make the key even weaker in that area than the OEM key and more prone to breakage. The attached pic shows the grooves in a yellow circle. The key with the small hole is a stronger design, similar to my 23yo OEM dakota key which has never broken.

I messaged saying the key transponders did not work a lock smith had to charge me 200 to get them to work , I will update when fixed
