Planted this is my ex wife’s car and picked up 2 hours worth of conversion of her speaking with a dude that sounded like Simple Jack (also married with kids) talking about the affair they just had in Vegas for 4 days, when I was told she was with an old college roommate (girl). This device picked up her voice on the Apple car play door speakers. Sounded Like I was sitting in the car with them it was amazing, worked to perfection. I should have listened to Dr. Dre as you really can’t make a hoe a housewife.Single father 2 kids now and never been happier!!!Thank you!!!! Peace of mind is priceless!!!

I placed in an area that should’ve picked up hours of conversation but surprisingly it only recorded three segments, two of which were only 30 seconds in length and one that was 12 minutes. It obviously did not record 98% of the time when someone spoke like I set it up to do. I’ll try once more and if similar results happen this is getting returned. Second session much better, hours of recording this time. Many sessions later I find that when I am turning it off according to the instructions it’s not off and then records hours of wherever I set it down. When I go to review it all that’s there is what it recorded after I shut it off. I’ve reviewed the paperwork explaining how to turn on and off and it was most def set to off when I removed it so it should not have been recording when it was. Sound quality is excellent, just wish the date/time was compatible with chrome book. It works well when it works, but seems to be a bit finicky regarding the knob to turn on or off. It’s way overpriced at $100. I’d not have paid more than $50 for it.

I have been very disappointed in the past when I have tried these discrete recorders in the $60-$80 range and they were junk. This costs a little more but you get something that is very easy to use and does what it says it will do without any struggle or training. Very very simple to use. The voice activation works perfectly. The sound pickup and quality are very good. It is even recording conversations in hall and next room if doors are open. It is extremely inconspicuous because it looks like a memory stick. No one will think anything of it just laying on a table or if left plugged in to out of the way 120v outlet.**update this thing can pickup both sides of a cell conversation in a quite room, if they do not have cell tight against their head, at a distance of 10ft . Amazing, I'd give this thing 6 stars if I could.It has save me so much $$! I am getting a divorce and I was going to be very generous because I felt bad for her, even though she trashed me every chance she got. Now after listening to how bad she was trashing me behind my back, I just dropped $100K off the settlement agreement. She get the bare legal minimum. God, I love this thing.

I got the device quickly, in two days. Amazed at how small it was and the directions were simple. I watched the video too to figure the time stamp which was easy. I hid in a bag in different spots, even behind baby wipes to see which spot could pick up the best but be hidden the best and went 30ft away and did sound test with different levels of voice. I had it on vor. You could hear pretty good from that far away. The only thing is one test it didn't start recording when I started to speak maybe because it wasn't loud enough to activate it. So it gave me a good idea how loud the sound must be to get it to start recording. Overall pretty awesome, now if it only included a call back feature to listen in live. It would be perfect.

I am 100,000,000 percent happy I spent the money on this amazing, discreet, small (device! It appears to be a flash drive, but records audio with great ability! I used the voice activated mode (you can leave it on as well to record all the time). I as able to catch my cheating spouse by placing it in the car, and when he talked to his girlfriends and friends, I was able to hear both the in-car conversations and listen to his phone calls as he used the car speaker/Bluetooth hookup. Boy did I get an earful! Worth every penny! At first, I though it was not working, because I heard muffled noise from the street/ mild static when he was silent. So, you have to go through each file to see if you're catching conversation or just some noise, as I described. A+

Its not worth buying imo. Maybe if it was 25$. The voice activation feature is not good. I adjusted the sensitivity all which ways and it just records everything no matter what. I set a timer and left it on the counter at 5am in a quiet room. At 10am I checked and it had 5 hours of mostly silence recorded. Maybe would be ok if you separate software to sift through silent moments. It would likely fill up space pretty fast even with the voice activation feature since it never seems to go to standby mode - batterty would never last the 25 days advertised (its only 25 days if its in standby mode the entire time).Quality is ok if you are right there next to it. Even a slight distance in the same room with the device sitting on the counter and everything is muffled and incomprehensible.Otherwise it is small and looks mostly like a plain old usb drive aside from a small hole for the mic to take in sound. Its very discrete looking and if someone found it they would have to plug it into a computer to figure out it had sound files (even then they would have to know to flip the wheel to the middle position first).I wish voice activation worked better and sound quality was better and then I would recommend buying it.

Oh! The product is amazing. Here is how I use it easily.1 -I use it with +1 option which records great.2 -when I run the date/time software, I eject it in a second to keep with the actual time.3- when I switch it for VAR before putting it for record I say the actual time to record it and with practice 2 above I found the timing is exactly identical to actual time.4- The file name contains the start time and whenever the file ends the next file starts with the next new start time.Love it!
