Baking Beauty and Beyond Concentrated Food Flavouring - Maple Syrup (30ml)

Wow. I got the Turkish Delight flavour and I just can't get over how ridiculously strong the flavour and smell is - I have sealed the lid after using it for the first time but you only have to walk past my baking cupboard and it's like someone is holing the bottle under your nose! It's a lovely smell to be honest - exactly like really fresh extra strong Turkish delight, so can imagine this would be brilliant to use in soaps or candles as it's so potent.But it means you have to be very careful when using it in cooking/baking for flavour - you literally only need a single drop or it will overpower and taste horrible/synthetic. But if you get the amount right, the flavour is beautiful. Just add literally a single droplet to whatever you're making, one drop at a time until the flavour is right depending on the quantity of ingredients you're adding it to.If the bottle/lid came with a pipette and perhaps some instructions somewhere then I would give this five stars easily - but I'm giving it four stars instead the fact there is no indication of how much to use and that there is droplet/pipette to confidently add this in measure amounts - it's too easy to pour too much out. Definitely good value for money given how little you need to use and definitely a great flavour/scent but you need to have or buy a pipette to use it well.

Product good, but beware of strength - only add a tiny bit at a time. My only bugbear is the labelling - no use by date or how much to use but also BAD SPELLING on all the bottles i received - IT DOES NOT GIVE CONFIDENCE IN THE COMPANY. All bottles are labelled "CONCERNTRATED" !!!!! Aaarrggghhh

This product is rubbish, and I presume from the lack of communication from the seller, no reply to 2 messages, they must think so too.It doesn't smell or taste of anything like peanut butter, just a horrible chemical taste. No ingredients or contents or dates label on the product eitherVery Disappointed

Didn’t like :- the fact that there were no instructions on how much to use to flavour.- no use by date on- no information on ingredients- cheap stick on label that peeled/slipped off.

Not sure how to describe but I have never tasted any cinnamon product like this. Would imagine frying a cinnamon stick in oil until dark brown would come close. Tried in coffee, for which it was bought, at rate used for the excellent hazelnut flavour and it made coffee undrinkable. To be fair I haven’t experimented with different amounts, and all people taste things differently, but it tastes so bad I am unlikely too.

Bought it, arrived in time.Not impressed with packaging and stuff.Tried on a classic biscuits recipe and I had to throw away all the biscuits.It's purely chemical flavor, not remotely close to a cherry flavoring type of liquid.As professional chef I strongly do not recommend this product, it's a very low quality flavoring .Not worth a penny.

Used it on cherry scones, have to use a fair bit to taste it but very nice

Tastes of chemical cleaner. tastes awful. Tried in fudge and cupcakes both times a few drops and still an overwhelming chemical cleaner taste. It smells like washing up liquid.
