Wild Republic Wild Smiles Face Mask, Reusable Face Mask, Washable Face Mask, Half Face Mask

First, this mask is incredibly large. I am a woman with a normal sized face/head andit is was way too large on me. There is probably an extra inch or two of fabric and each strap was about an inch too long. Second, compared to the pictures on Amazon, the mask looks different. The colors are lighter and it looks cheap. Third, there is no place to insert a filter and no wire around the nose. I definitely would not recommend this product.

I ordered one before this in child’s size for my 7 year old and an adult size came instead. I figured I made a mistake. So when I went to order the shark face mask I triple checked it was a child size. An adult size came again. In my orders it claims I bought an adult size but I know it was switched because I was very cautious not to get adult. My son was so bummed this happened twice to him. My 10 year old has a child size and loves it but I bought it in June. I think they are out of child size so beware. You will probably get an adult size if you order for a child.

Glasses wearers: Don't be put off by the lack of a nose wire. I cut the nose wire out of a disposable paper mask and was able to insert it into the Wild Republic mask without even cutting a hole... the stitches and the material are stretchy enough that you can work the wire in through the seam. I actually inserted two for an extra-snug seal around my nose. (See the picture for how I did it.)The adult sized masks are big and comfortable. I've got a large head (XL or XXL hat and motorcycle helmet size), and these masks fit me quite well. Folks with smaller heads might need to shorten the earloops somehow.The mask is two layers of material, thick enough that it feels like I'm getting some filtration, but no so thick that it is hard to breathe through.Five stars because (even though some of us will need to DIY the nose wire and earloop length adjustment), the masks are inexpensive, well made, and FUN. I needed some of that last right about now.

Placed my finger where my chin is for reference. This mask is WAY too big and is more round than a normal mask. The print is cute however this was a complete waste of money.

GOOD:This mask is very cute and I like how it looks.BAD:It's a little too big for my 5 year old and falls down off of his nose. After I washed it, the white liner on the inside shrunk a little and now the 2 layers don't really fit together right.

We bought several of these in different animals for my kids for school. We went with the adult size because I saw a review somewhere that they ran small. We also had ordered children sizes from the zoo and they were borderline too small. The penguin ones were really large. I put it on and it kept trying to fall off of my nose. I tried the crocodile next and it fit me great and was only slightly baggy on my son. I am able to sew so I just took up the ear loops and they work great. For the price, you can't go wrong with these. Just know that some ear loops are longer than others on different animals and may need alterations.

They are a good material. Very soft. I returned them though because the adult size is large on your face. I am a little thick and have a round face and my son also has an adult size face so I thought the adult size would fit. It's way too big. The bottom of the mask just hangs down and the straps are way too big and when we move our face talking it comes down off our nose. We recently returned them and ordered a child's size and will see if that fits any better. They are very cute though and wonderful material just beware the size runs big.Update! My son wore them one time and the thread is coming off. No good.

This is a cute, high quality item. However, I presumed it was smaller because of the pictures of younger children wearing it. I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions listed, which are accurate. It is too large for my 4yo, who has a smallish face for her age. I am purchasing some mask toggles to make it fit. It's probably more suitable for a child >8 and up.

This mask is not fit for purpose. It’s so big it covers the entire face including the eyes. And worst of all you can’t return it despite the fact that its ridiculous size is clearly the manufacturer’s fault.

It will make a good talking point, a face covering with a difference, I am pleased with my purchase.
