So comfortable. Very impressed.
I have to say I am honestly amazed at how comfortable this boot is. I thought my ECCO Track boots were amazing but somehow this feels possibly even better. Was out with them yesterday for a few hours in patches of bog water up to the second from top eyelets (really a welly day) and both feet stayed totally dry but the leather did soak a lot of water so I have now applied some water repellent spray (on the advice of the boot care card that came with them, better late than never) and may even add a little clear wax polish to try as the boot does get heavier when soaked so maybe sacrifice some breathability but I can live with that as I want the boot for mostly cold wet conditions just for day out walks. Wish I had had a camera along as they looked great blended in with the bog path winter detritus.I went for black as I don't really like wearing brown boots though they look good? I did get a bigger size 12 (normally 11) for a thicker sock. I would not say these are a wide boot but with the larger size I have plenty of room with nothing pressing anywhere on my feet. I did change the spongy insole to a firmer thicker one (from one of my other Hi-Tec boots) and now the fit and comfort is really perfect. I have lots of boots but this feels just superb for me with a standard foot. I also changed the laces to a darker charcoal pair as I didn't really like the grey ones that came with the boot (they are now on a Hi-Tec boot so things do get swopped around). BTW this UK 12 is 46 EU but they say 47 on the website? The boot feels comparatively light when not sodden and very stable underfoot like it's a proper rough or off path boot & that's about all I can say at the moment. I'm not heavy on boots with many miles of hiking or big backpacks or whatever so I expect they should be durable enough for me. Certainly no fault with them at the moment and it's always a risk with any boot & brand that it may fail sooner or later and a lot down to luck.I have several other Karrimor boots (Brecon, Bobcat) & they have been fine but they are smaller and mostly for thinner sock use. I still have an old Tour 2 model that I bought about 15 or more years ago and still find brilliantly comfortable and it's still waterproof and plenty of sole left so that one is certainly durable. I think it's immortal? Some some last, some don't. You just have to wait and see what happens but for now this boot is just what I need at a good price and I like wearing it so I have gone and ordered another pair to have as a backup as I like them that much and fingers crossed that they last a reasonable time.

So far so brilliant.
This is my first pair of Karrimors and I am really happy.I’ve only done about 100miles or so in them, and not it the rain, but so far they’re great. The fit was as expected. I’m normally a 11 give or take, and these for perfectly. They’ve got adequate ankle support and excellent grip. I had a different brand before and the soles were like a Teflon pan so these are a very welcome upgrade. The lacing system is great too. Excellent quality metal eyelets that so far at least haven’t snagged on each other as you walk. They’ve taken no time to walk-in either. They were practically perfect out of the box.Can recommend.

Good boots but beware of size problems
Karrimor have fallen into the trap many other manufacurers do these days.I take a size 11 UK which is an EU size 46. Everyone's charts show that a 46 is in fact an 11 and a quarter. Anyone with even very basic mathematical skills will know that you round this number DOWN.Karrimor's website clearly shows that an 11 UK is an EU 46. But guess what. When you order the boots you have to order a 12 to get an EU 47. This is WRONG. The boots are marked UK 12 and EU46. They fit me perfectly. I guessed this stupid logic before I bought them.so if you are a UK 11 you need to order a 12! So annoying!!!

Comfortable, lightweight boots
Really happy with these. Bought them for an upcoming winter trip to northern Norway, where their light weight and waterproof features will be invaluable. Well made and look great too.

!!! DO NOT BUY for more than £75 !!!
These boots are made of the cheapest materials and retail for about £70, which is a fair price. I've bought 3 pairs of these in 2 years because they fit me well out of the box, and I consider it as a subscription. You will also need some shoe glue and a waterproof treatment (these boots lose water-repelling properties quickly). Do bring some duct tape on your hikes as the sole may come off. The milage of these boots depends on how lucky you are and how well you treat them. The sole is slippery when wet, and the Weathertight membrane is not great. Overall, these are useful and comfortable boots for hiking and casual winter wearing. Just check them often, apply a waterproofing compound as needed, and do the repairs as soon as you spot a problem.

Super Comfy and Dry!
I've had mine for 1 year exactly and love them! My feet normally hate boots of any kind but these were recommended by a friend, so reluctantly and with little expectation I gave them a try.Wow, so comfortable even during my first few walks and have remained that way. I've worn them in rain, walking through long soaking wet grass and also snow and my feet have remained bone dry.I was tempted to buy another pair for when these wear out as I would be disappointed when these eventually go and I couldn't get another pair.
