I can't say enough good about this soeaker cabinet. For the price, you get a very solidly built 60 watt 1x12 cab loaded with a genuine Celestion Vintage 30. I was unfamiliar with Monoprice price to discovering this. I am sold. This is great quality stuff at surplus pricing. They specialize in dealing with the big makers that produce equipment in the same space as the big guys, using the same factory equipment, but can ofder it at a lower price. Just the speaker alone is worth 2/3rd of what I paid for the whole thing. It looks so sleek and clean. This is a full sized 1x12 semi-open back guitar cabinet. The Cuntage 30 gives it amazing tone and it is loud thanks to that quality V30 and it's sensitivity rating. Never would I have expected to buy a brand new 1x12 cab with a Celestion V30 for under $250. Ever. It was designed for a Monoprice Stage Right Tube Amp head but I am using it with my 6505MH head and it sounds fantastic. Plenty of volume on just 1 watt. I don't see a scenario where I would b have to use the full 20 watts because of the quality of the speaker. The V30 is the standard in guitar speakers. Especially for metal but is versatile enough to be used with almost any genre. And being a 1x12 semi-open back cab, your recording engineer or sound guy will thank you. This is great in the studio or on stage. It is built like a tank. I've owned many speaker cabs and amps and this ranks in my top. Couldn't be happier. GET ONE!!! Get it before the big companies try to squash the competition or demand causes prices to increase. This s a steal!

I was super surprised at the quality of this cabinet. It is tough as nails and looks good. It's not too big for a living room or a basement, I have even run it in bedrooms at low watts. The handle it very well secured. As far as the sound, you would not be reading this if you did not know how awesome this Celestion is. It sounds fantastic, I play all genres, it punches through the rest of the band for metal in a major way. I use it for open stage jazz improve too and it sounds like butter on toast. Tasty. Of course, a lot of this depends on your head, so I have run it with an Orange micro terror (tube) a Boss Katana (solid state) and a Fender Blues Jr and a couple of others. It makes 20 watts sound like 40 and so on. It's got a surprising amount of headroom. The stand my amp is on is not part of the purchase. This an absolute amazing buy I the price. I'm getting another one!

No issues with this at all. Good build quality and sounds great. Crazy price for this speaker and cab. I am using it with a PRS HDRX 20 amp and am loving it. PRS sells a similar cab with the same V30 for twice the price. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a 1x12 with a Celestion V30.

Looks great and sounds great. Not too heavy. Ran it with an AC 15 head and Orange pedal amp. Highly recommended.

Incredible deal. Excellent cabinet and speaker. Cabinet is large and sturdy. Celestion V30 is an iconic speaker.

Recently bought a Monoprice 5w tube amp to use for low volume home use and was generally pleased with it. Added a reverb and delay pedal which made the little 5 watter sound pretty good but still seemed a little muddy at the low basement volume I play at. After inquiring on line how to make it sound better I was surprised to hear from several folks that a larger speaker would help, since I always thought a 5watt amp couldn’t handle a larger speaker. So when I saw this cab for $150 I jumped on it (what a deal, the speaker alone costs almost that much) and am I glad I did, what a difference! Really cleared up the little amp, sounds better at every level, even made the reverb and delay sound better. The quality of the one I received is impeccable, and as I said the sound improvement is hard to put in to words, couldn’t be happier. As a side note, if you crank the little amp to ten, it will shake the walls with this cab!

This a a great little speaker. Celestion Vintage 30 speakers alone retail for $170 new, so I don’t know how they made this available at this price! The speaker seems well built & sturdy & weighs about 30 lbs. The tolex seems durable & it has metal covers on the corners. I’m just wondering how durable it is & how long the cabinet itself will last. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars, because on the top left corner on the front of the cabinet, the tolex & the white striping looks a little crooked. When looking straight at it, you can’t really tell, but when you’re looking down at the speaker you can see it. Still, at this price for a wooden cabinet with nice tolex, striping, grill & a quality Celestion speaker, ya can’t go wrong. My Bogner Atma sounds great through it, & it matches well & looks great!
