The majority of the reviews of this book are not listed on the reviewers' profile page. This can be easily and quickly corrected by Amazon of course, but it does have the effect of further suppressing and isolating Dr. Duesberg' s views. And I suspect that this is no accident.

A great expose of the biggest scientific/medical blunder in human history. And I'm NOT exaggerating.This is one of the most important books ever written. Don't be fooled by the hysterical critiques by people who have probably never read the book. Apparently they lost their critical thinking faculties years ago and just prefer to parrot the establishment view on everything in life. I used to believe that HIV caused AIDS, because like most people THAT'S ALL I WAS TOLD! Then I found an article about this book in a magazine, read the book, delved into the AIDS dissident movement at virusmyth.net, and the whole thing took off from there. Yes, people are dying of something the establishment decided to call "AIDS". But it isn't caused by HIV! You've heard the word "AIDS" so many times that you have a fear response conditioned into you. You can't even think about it without being disturbed. Just give up your hysteria and use your brain.If you think that HIV causes AIDS, and that it's been "proven", you don't know ANYTHING about it.Just read this book, put aside all of the [stuff] you were taught by the media and your high-school health teacher, and think for yourself. You should visit that website, because while this book is excellent, it's only the tip of the iceberg. Hundreds of eminent scientists from all over the world, including Nobel Prize winners, disagree with the b.s. that HIV causes AIDS. But you never hear about them, do you?The notion that HIV causes AIDS is the biggest scientific blunder in human history. You owe it to yourself and the world to read this book.

Libro totalmente recomendable, si quieres obtener otra vision sobre el cuestionado sindrome de SIDA y el el virus causante VIH.

Ce livre est une grande ressource pas seulement sur le sida mais sur l'histoire de la médecine : ainsi on en apprend énormément sur la théorie des germes, sur quelques fiascos de la science du passé tel le SMON au Japon. Mais bien entendu la grosse partie du gros livre est sur le sida et comment, selon Duesberg, le virus HIV a été rendu coupable. Ses arguments sont riches et bien construit, que cela plaise à la théorie officielle, il faut se confronter à ces arguments. Duesberg est souvent présenté comme un personnage peu crédible, ici on voit aussi que c'est un grand scientifique qui avait déjà une longue carrière dans le domaine des rétrovirus. Son livre se lit comme un thriller. Le livre est d'ailleurs traduit en français sous le titre "L'invention du virus du sida".

Outstanding book! Changed my vision of the world!

Lessi per caso un paio di capitoli di questo libro alcuni anni fa: si spalancò un mondo di dubbi e riflessioni.L'autore è tutto fuorché un ciarlatano, le domande che pone sono tuttora senza risposte convincenti da parte della "comunità scientifica".Il libro, poi, contiene una lunga serie di esempi di errori clamorosi della medicina "ufficiale" del passato, dei quali si parla poco o per niente.Una lettura utile per stimolare un pensiero critico su quello che viene affermato con granitica e "scientifica" certezza in tanti campi, in particolare in quello medico.

I had seen a few documentaries on the topic and wanted to investigate further on the matter. Duesberg really has a case and shows understandable evidence that HIV = AIDS is just a hoax and how this scam managed to gain wide acceptance among the medical establishment, the media and society at large.
