With the low price of this smb everyone should get one. The material is tough and the mouthpiece works fine. It rolls up compact enough for it to not be in the way during a dive. It's hard to justify the more expensive brand name SMBs when there are tough and functional markers at this price

Seems like this has reasonable construction, time will tell. Price is comparable to a lot of 4’ tubes. I suspect long term divers will be more critical, for me it is first dive marker and meets my learning curve

This is an extra long surface marker, the inflator hose works well and it is easy to inflate. I wish it had some reflective tape on it.

A little bulky compared to the plastic "sausages" I've used in the past, but nothing noticeable when tucked away in my BCD pocket. Inflates easily and quickly, either orally or using your tank. The highlight for me is the attached clip, considering I've littered several bodies of water with my previous SMBs that I would notoriously lose!Based on others' reports of color bleed, I did soak this marker before diving with it. After 6 dives, I've had no sign of bleed on my BC or any other items sharing the same pocket.

Worked like a charm. Tough enough to handle 10 days of diving in the Maldives.

If you are on a budget this is a good starter SMB. It is cheap and small, but the dye will bleed, and without an over pressure release you you can't use it as a deployable SMB, which is the most common actual use of a SMB.Also the plastic clips used on it is hard to use, but that is pretty common on SMBs and in the industry. I often cut them off and replace it with a paracord loop for a bolt snap.

This sausage rolls of tightly, extends smoothly, inflates easily, dries quickly, and is super visible. It's light enough to not even make you notice it stuffed in your BCD pocket and has a nice hook on the end so it can be buckled into your vest for extra security that it'll be where you want it when you need it. The only way this could be better would be to have the "DIVER" logo be silkscreened on with highly-reflective fabric paint (like you see runners have on shoes for night jogs.).

Je compte utiliser ce marqueur en eau douce où les vagues sont moins importantes et où la visibilité par le bateau de récupération est moins critique. Diamètre et longueur réduits moins visible mais tellement moins gros. Pas de valves de surpression, cela pourrait éventuellement l’endommager surtout qu’il est très facile à gonfler avec un boyau d’air.Mais c’est parfait a un prix raisonnable.
