Outstanding customer support
Outstanding Customer Service - I ordered the Waterdrop WD-G3P600 RO system for my family. The unit was installed by a plumber under the island within the kitchen. In addition to the WD-G3P600 RO system I also purchased additional Waterdrop products, which were installed, in series, with the WD-G3P600 system. I purchased a UF filter, UV filter, and Alkaline Water filter to be installed with the CF/CB/RO WD-G3P600 system. The install was a complete full system design to serve the needs of my family. The UF sediment filter was designed to remove the solid water particulates to a level of 0.01 microns as a replacement filter cartridge to reduce lead, chlorine, bad taste & odor. This filter has a useful life of 24 months; however, the unit was functional for a period of only 14 months – short by a period 10 months from the warrantied date. Therefore, after a call to Waterdrop warranty, the representative, Krystal X - Customer Service Representative, was extremely amiable and supportive of my needs. Krystal X is an exceptional customer service representative and fully focused on the needs of the Waterdrop clients. She was completely customer-centric and supportiveKrystal X provided excellent customer support, with noticeable empathy & a genuine desire to support the corrective actions required to resolve this matter. I felt Krystal X was eager to address an amiable resolution to this issue in the most expeditious manner which ensures complete customer satisfaction. Upon the completion of Krystal’s due diligence and a thorough rationalization of the potential root cause issues a permanent solution was established and implemented; the unit is again running as it was designed.I am more than pleased to identify Krystal’s excellent service customer-centric support and intrinsic value as a customer facing representative of the Waterdrop Corporation.

Filter and Service
This product could honestly earn either one star(cause it failed) and five stars(cause of their service and action). I ordered it as a replacement because the original unit started causing hammering noises after 21 months of use, making it unusable. Despite reducing the water pressure, the issue persisted. After reading various comments, it seemed the filter had failed, so I decided to purchase a new one.The installation was straightforward—a simple quarter turn, and that was it. However, I still experienced hammering, and eventually, the flow would stop. When I reduced the flow to a very low setting, it worked without the hammering, but it took a long time to fill a bottle.I reached out to Waterdrop for assistance, and they asked for the usual details, such as where I purchased it and the specific issues I was facing. To my surprise, they sent me a complete new kit, including a tap, pipes, filter, and the box where the filter screws in. I replaced just the box and the filter, and now everything is functioning perfectly. If you encounter any issues, I recommend contacting them through their website under the "Contact Us" section. They were very helpful! Finally, the taste and water quality have always been great I am happy with that.

Great filtration, simple to install, & replace
My city water sometimes smells like the sink is full of bleach. It also has a lot of rust sediment. My house is more than 70 years old. I expect there are iron pipes in the original plumbing, although my kitchen has been remodeled with whatever pipe material is in use now. A whole house filter isn't feasible, but I like to drink water, coffee, and tea; make pasta, soup, stews, etc. I've used various faucet filters, none of which were easy to install and remove, and lasted less than 3 months . I ended up back to the beginning with Brita pitchers. Not terribly convenient, as it takes extra time to refill them, and the filters need replacing every 2-3 months. A few years ago, I replaced my outdated kitchen faucet with one that has one handle and a pull-out spray, which 1) a faucet filter won't work; but 2 )left me an unused hole in the granite countertop. I added a bar faucet to the cold water line and this Waterdrop filter. (Actually, I hired a plumber.) The RF-15 has a recommended life of 2 years, or 16,500 gallons. I replaced it after 3 years. The water was still clear, didn't grow any mold sitting out in the dog's dish; neither of us got sick drinking it even though I used it 50% longer timewise than advised. But I am the only human living in my house. I pay the water bills. It would take me 20 years to use 16K gallons of water for everything - laundering clothes, and bed linens, showering, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, window cleaning inside and out, toilet flushing (including occasional houseguests guests and dinner guests for a week or two) some pressure washing, and outdoor plant watering. Occasional car washing. My monthly billed water cost is always the minimum,1CCF (748 gallons or less). This filter is only used on one cold water faucet in the kitchen - drinking and cooking, but not dishwashing. My way of excusing the fact that I used it for 3 years instead of the recommended 2. I'm not sick and the original filter was still giving me clean, odorless water. The price has dropped by 50% since I purchased the first one. So why did I take off a star? Because the case is made of heavy plastic. I don't know what the filter is made of, but the company advised me that none of it is recyclable. It goes into the landfill unless I can find some use for it. It's not completely sustainable, but I NEVER buy bottled water, and avoid food containers that are not glass if disposable. Plastic contributes more fossil fuel emissions than anything except diesel and gas-powered engines that are used to create, transport, fill, and transport again. After a heavy rain, I can see islands of them floating down the creek near my house. They are in the stomachs of all of us who eat animals and fish. If you use a string trimmer in your yard, the string is chopped into millions of invisible bits everywhere, ingested by deer, birds and other wildlife. I'll stop ranting now! Thank you for reading. Back to business: This undersink filter works great, is incredibly simple to install and remove, costs almost nothing per gallon for clean water, and makes much less 1000-year waste than other methods of getting clear, good-tasting and smell-less water for drinking and cooking.
