Rice came out perfect!! Listen, if your rice is coming out crunchy or mushy… that’s 9 times out of 10 user error. (Too much or too little water) I’m Filipino and I don’t measure the rice or water. Scoop some in and use the finger tip method. Works every time. ( touch tip of finger to the top of the rice and the water should be filled to the first line on your finger. Look it up if this doesn’t make sense I promise it’s perfect.) another thing is if your rice cookerIs gushing water and rice residue everywhere you’re probably just over filling. One more thing is YES if you leave it overnight the bottom will crust. But a little tip to keep the rice fresh throughout the day is add a wet paper towel on top of the rice. But I recommend this rice cooker

I loved the simplicity of this rice cooker but it stopped working in less than a year.

It's okay product for the price you are paying. It's too feel that its too hot to keep the rice warm once it cooked. You have to unplug it once the rice is cooked or else your rice will be all dry up.Update: this rice cooker is the worst rice cooker ever! Brought it last than a year and this thing is already turn the rice soggy and smelly after couple hours. Usually rice will last at least 2-3 days before to start smell bad but this one only took couple hours to do so. The rice just turn so watery with an odor so easy and soon after it become a tint yellow porridge! Like this is the worst! Do not recommend it!

I had an older model that quit on me and found the exact same one here in Amazon. It cooks great! I love it.

We've had this rice cooker for almost a year and we still use it. Right now, it's only my partner and I which is why we got this smaller rice cooker. It gets the job done by cooking our rice, but it does burn the rice. As soon as we hear the click the rice makes because it's done, we quickly unplug it. If we leave it to steam for a couple of minutes or more, the bottom of the rice comes out hard. Also, we tried just keeping it warm after having some leftover from dinner til the next morning, by next morning, the whole rice is watery. We found that storing it in the rice cooker unplugged, the rice is still good in the morning so that's what we've been doing. When we can, we'll buy a different rice cooker.

Cooks a lot of rice and I love that it has a veggie steamer. I use it often to cook rice and veggies at the same time. It's really fast too. Also very easy to clean, just need some soap and water and a soft sponge. Not dishwasher safe, but no need since it pretty much rinses off.
