Bought them as a gift for my son he loves them

The box gives the impression that they come organized. They aren't, they're loose in the box, it's extremely cumbersome to sort/dig through it each time. I cut some cardboard pieces to keep the rows straight, that helps a little bit.This company has 170+ colors, and this is a sampling of those, so they're not sequential. Plus they have 40 total grays, and you only get 9 here.So 10 out of the 60 are gray/black.The markers are triangle shaped, nice for holding them, but messy in the box.There is no mention that these are archival. So they are not really for serious, permanent art. If you need a real set of markers, go get Prisma Colors.These do not smell, which is nice.They also blend well, but because you're missing half steps between some colors, some will not blend as well as others. For example, it goes from lemon yellow to mustard yellow, so blending those won't really work. If blending is important to you, get a higher count set.They're not truly permanent. Beads up on plastic, vinyl, etc like a water based marker. Probably won't work on top of paint, either.It's really for paper only. If, for example, you want to label things around the house in colors, get Sharpies instead.If using on adult coloring books, yes they do bleed right through the paper, like normal permanent markers. But again, they're not permanent or archival.Great for drafts, kids, adult coloring books. They're fun, but not for the professional.

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this set based on certain elements of the description. It says they are permanent markers and highlighters. Well, can they be both? In this case, the light colors are perfect for using as a highlighter and the dark colors are perfect for tasks where you want a permanent marker. Those are great for labeling zip locks and tupperware containers, my primary use for a permanent markers. They don't dry instantly, it will smudge if you try to smudge it right away, but they dry in a matter of seconds, even on plastic surfaces.I love having the fine tip and the thick tip option for each marker! This just makes sense and adds to the versatility of this set. The fine tip is perfect for small labels as well as drawing.The color variation is huge and will work for just about everyone! While there is one marker named "skin white" which is perfect for drawing White people, there are also lots of other shades that are excellent for drawing people of all races! The box that these arrive in is super heavy duty and is perfect for neat and tidy storage of this set.These markers are really well made, have a firm snap closure, and just look sharp. I would recommend this set!

You won’t get pro quality from them, but you will be able to blend and layer like any alcohol-based marker.I really like the desaturated colours in this kit. Very few of the colours are overly bright or vibrant, but even with the more muted tones, they do have a really nice spectrum of light, mid, and dark tones, giving excellent coontrast (black and white image).However, these really should not be used in sketchbooks. The ink not only bleeds out as if there is too much propellant in the ink, but it also bled through three pages. You will need something sturdier, like Bristol board with these markers, or a sheet in between the pages of your sketchbook.If they didn’t bleed and wick so badly, they’d get five stars. But as it is, the bleed is almost comical with some of the colours.

The title listing has the words “Highlighter Pen Set”. Just to be clear, these are not highlighters. These are permanent markers.These markers come in a sturdy cardboard box. Each marker has a fine tip and a beveled tip. They are low odor. This set has a nice assortment of colors. I’ve seen some other sets which sway heavily to one color or the other.These markers have a triangular-shape. If you look at other listings, you will notice that many such markers look identical, just with a different name on them. I think all of these markers are made at the same Chinese factory, just being sold under different names. The name on these markers is: “Rich New”.At the current price of 30 bucks, I think these are quite expensive for what they are. Nonetheless, it is a very nice set.

I'm impressed with this set. I've been experimenting with alcohol markers and these performed well. The colors are bright and vibrant. The ink lays down evenly and did not pool on paper. I tested these on marker paper and none of them bled through! It didn't flood the page. (photo show single vs multiple layers of the marker). The ink dries quickly so there's less risk of smearing. I was really impressed by that. I love that it came in such a thick and sturdy box. I like that I can keep them in order and they don't end up jumbled together as it does in a looser sack. I keep the box on its side so the ink do not pool on one side. I think that may cause some of the flooding I've seen. I would buy more of this brand if it came in larger sets.
