We bought these to replace our old non-stick slotted spoon. They are very sturdy. We've been using them for a while, and have run them through the dishwasher without issue.The entire spoon is, however, metal. We don't typically leave our spoons sitting in the liquids while they boil, but if you did the heat from the spoon might radiate into the neck and handle, and represent a burn possibility to your hand. I'm not sure if that's possible or not, since we haven't experienced it. But it is important to note that the entire thing is metal, including the handle.

These looked exactly like their picture. They were very sturdy and perfect in every way. I would buy more if I needed to. It was one of the best buys I’ve ever made.

This set of 3 different sizes of strainers just about covers all the needs for straining food in the kitchen. The quality is quite good, well made, and the shiny stainless steel looks very good.

I use this every workday morning cooking veggies: sugar snap peas, carrots, plum tomatoes....i like the large holes than the mesh because it's easier to clean with a brush and I don't feel i need to gentle brushing it
