Excellent cheese cake pans!
After spending what seems hours reading reviews, I decided on these Canadian made aluminum pans.Bottom has indeed few scratches from manufacturing, dont see that as a big deal. Lot op people cut pie in pan and then it scratches too. Nice and deep (handy for covering overnight without touching the topping) and sturdy material. NO complaining please, READ instructions! Although it should be common knowledge that aluminum should never go in dishwasher, the instructions clearly state how to clean first time and how to maintain and yes it states "handwash". Enjoy baking.

No issues. Well made, cleans up well.
Mainly use this for cheesecakes and similar deserts. I don't use utensils when using this, but I don't think a non-metal item would scratch the finish. I don't have an automatic dishwasher, it cleans up fine by hand.

Great cake pans
I can’t understand why these are called cheesecake pans. My cheesecake would be a mess if I tried to use these. Springform every time. However, as cake pans they are excellent. I have a chocolate cake whose bottom NEVER completely releases from the bottom of the pan. These two part pans are perfect.

Works as intended but somehow one cake turned out smaller than the other?
I cook more than I bake as a disclosure. Somehow one layer turned out smaller than the other used with the same batter? It was noticeably smaller than the first layer in diameter. Otherwise, it worked as expected.

BIFL baking pan
In the past year I stopped purchasing non stick baking pans, they always get scratches and start losing their coat. This pan does not have this issue. With normal use I believe it can serve me several dozen of years.Another bonus it has removable bottom which also add to it durability.

Good for more than baking
I purchased this item to be used in making 5" hamburgers. It's perfect with a piece of 5" round parchment paper at the bottom. Just lightly press he meat in the pan, turn it over so you can use the removable bottom to eject the finished burger. Using this you can make perfect 5" burgers every time.

What’s not to love?
Love love love these pans. Line them with parchment or pastry - no leaking and easy removal. Easy cleanup w/o the crevices of spring forms. Wish I had discovered these decades ago.

Looks used
I literally just opened the packaging and it came with lots of water marks and scratches. It looks used and I ordered a brand new one. I ordered it because it's a Canadian brand, but I'll have to return this.

Love this pan - Made in Canada
I am glad to find a Made-in-Canada cake pan! The material is solid and love its removal bottom. It is great for making mousse cake. Although it is not very non-stick, my cake base was pretty much intact after running a knife around the edge. It is not completely leak proof if you are making a Jell-O top on a mousse cake. The liquid state Jell-O leaked a little through the bottom. However, it is good for baking cake and making cheesecake. It is much lighter than USA Pan but the material is still very good and heats up evenly. I very much enjoy baking with this pan and glad to support Canadian business during the pandemic.

Good quality
This is a quality pan. My first 7 inch pan. I like that it is made in Canada and you just push up to remove the cheesecake.

Very nice quality pan.
Love the 8” pan. I find it a better size for a cheesecake. I prefer this style over the traditional springform pan as the bottom of this Crown brand pan is held in place by gravity and the weight of the batter pressing it down. With the springform, there’s always the unpleasant potentially for the bottom to shift if the side clip loosens, and the contents end up everywhere.

Not pleased.
I will be returning this pot. Used once and washed it with dish soap and water. Looks like I have had it a long time already. There were scratches on the bottom section when it arrived. Also it is very difficult to get the cheesecake out of the pan. I bought it because it was made in Canada but not happy with the quality. I will try a different brand.
