Works well!
Works well. You have to kind of experiment to get the processing time that works for you. I slept with the indigo on and head wrapped which was for me a no-no as it gave me the worst migraine I’ve ever had. It clearly says not to do that in the instructions but I’ve watched YouTube videos that contradict that advice. My hair did come out black, though, and all grays were covered. The second time I only left the indigo an hour. No migraine but no gray coverage either. I’ll try to leave it on for 2 hours next time.

Really does work!
I'm in my thirties and about 20% gray. I was ready to cave and go to chemical box dye because regular henna just wasn't cutting it anymore. I gave this a shot and I was AMAZED that it worked. I have dark brown hair and the Dark Brown shade worked beautifully. Hooray!

Never going to use chemical hair dye again
More work than using chemical hair dye but doesn’t ruin your hair or expose you to potentially toxic chemicals. Covers my resistant grey hair beautifully. Highly recommend if you have the patience for a two step dye job.

Messy, but great chemical hair dye replacement
I'm allergic to chemical hair dye and have used this for years. It does a great job and my hair looks thick and shiny after using it. Both the auburn and mahogany colors blend in naturally for me (my hair is a reddish brown). The red is too firey to blend in for me, and the brown is too dark. I have long hair and usually get two - sometimes three - uses out of a box and use this once a month. The only issue I have with this hair dye is the mess. It is very messy to use. Like really messy - "open a roll of paper towels and sigh before using" messy. Big gloopy greenish muck messy. But... not using chemicals on my head and getting really good results keeps me coming back.

Natural hair color
The Pros:I have been looking for a more natural hair coloring for a while. I finally got it! It will s very effective, you just have to follow all the steps. I left mine for four hours, and it did cover the gray hair for me.Cons: it does take longer, but it’s worth it

Easier way to use henna
Easier to use than conventional pure henna. Less time needed to achieve desired color. It covers well, but it does fade from the temples where my hair is pretty close to white. As for the smell, that’s just henna 🤷♀️ You can add a little essential oils if it’s really bothersome (I’ve used henna for 12+ years so I’m used to it). Clean up with soap and warm water (I have tons of stains in my bathroom from chemical hair dye but henna has rarely left a permanent stain). Put cream on areas where you don’t want color as it will dye skin. If it’s taking 6 hours, you’re doing it wrong.

Messy, time consuming, and SMELLS AWFUL
Bought this because I wanted to do the "healthy' thing, didn't want to fry my hair or put chemicals on it to cover my gray. Doesn't seem worth the hassle or the SMELL, my word, the SMELL. It's akin to rotting spinach & was so strong I ended up with a headache after applying this, then heaved.Besides the repugnant odor (that doesn't wash out as so many henna heads claim). This process is extremely messy and time consuming. Conceivably it could take 8 hours start to finish (My process took 6) If you plan to try this, you'd better clear your calendar for the day. Also expect your sink and tub to look like a mud wrestling match took place in them or worse. More bad news: once you henna, you can no longer use commercial color as your hair will literally burn. Since I bought a twin pack, I reluctantly will try it again in a couple months as I am not one to waste, but I truly can't recommend it. Will try a premixed color after this, like Madison Reed or something.
